What do you do during a weeklong heatwave....sew .I had a couple of sewing machine projects and some mending.Well that was day one ,so dug up some scraps and played with my needle and threads.Theres no theme just me playing .

2013 Rae Trujillo - botany monotony - 2.5 inches high. This view shows the book out flat. This little book was my inspiration for all my plant dyeing experiments. Rae says "The magic brew was copper pot, garlic papers and boiling water. Add book and let steep on the back porch for a few days. "
"One thing you may want to mention is a warning of cooking these brews on the home stove. Some can emit chemicals and scents that may not be good to inhale. Cook out side."
