The other designer, Ellen who changed her name to Susan, I think. She's working on a HUGE drafting table that I actually purchased in Pennsylvania and shipped to California for Eclipse. I loved that table. Note the color specification guide on the wall. Old school!

Despite my nature art installation application being denied at the Eclipse festival, I decided I wanted to make an offering to the eclipse. When I arrived at the festival I understood why my application was denied - people had been there for weeks prior creating nature art. The inspiration was amazing!
This was made the morning of the eclipse, with everyone gathered on the top of the hill to witness the wonderous event. Few things in life have had the impact of getting to witness a complete solar eclipse with my bare eyes. The air cooled, the sky darkened, and emotions were on full tilt in the crowd. A short, few minute totality gave way to cheers and celebrations into the next day.
Yet another piece I finish and wish I could get a higher vantage point to take a photo!
