Do ano passado, tava tirando umas fotos da lua e notei que faltava um pedaço, meu primeiro eclipse acidental ^^

On August 21, 2017 the Night Sky Festival went out with a flare as a partial solar eclipse occurred over Shenandoah National Park. Visitors young and old gathered at Byrd Visitor Center to experience the wonder of this natural phenomenon together.
A nod to the most exciting event to happen in 2024... the Total Eclipse! I live in Southern NH so I was in the 93% path. Didn't get to see the whole thing but I had fun watching what I could see with my co-workers from the parking lot at the office.
For this cookie cutter challenge, my intention was to make some "star" cookies using my newly purchased cookie cutters. But I ran out of time, so I had to come up with a Plan B quickly.
As often happens, I got lucky! At the third bakery I visited today, I found these really cool moon-shaped cookies! I asked if the cookie cutter that was used to make them was available. They actually looked in the kitchen for it, but said that the baker only works during the week and they didn't know where he stores the cookie cutters. So, I bought a half-dozen moon cookies and staged them with my Solar Eclipse gear and my new cookie cutters as "stars!"
And now the best part... eating the props while celebrating this final entry for Round 129!

Partial solar eclipse in Denmark on the 4. jan 2011. A beautiful experience since the sunlight wasn´t that strong in the morning, so i was able to se it without wearing anything but ordinary sunglasses.
