Lunar Eclipse of April 15, 2014 as viewed from Arizona, USA. Photo was taken through Celestron 4SE telescope with Nikon D5200 attached via T-adapter. Each sequence of this composite is 5 images stacked using Registax then assembled in Photoshop CS6.

First part of lunar eclipse--clouds came in again as it approached totality, and my camera isn't good enough to capture totality anyway.

The Eclipse 500 is a small, six-seat business jet aircraft manufactured by Eclipse Aviation. It is the second of a new class of business jets called Very Light Jets (VLJ), following the delivery of the first VLJ, the Cessna Citation Mustang in late 2006. The plane is powered by two lightweight Pratt & Whitney Canada PW610F turbofan engines in tail-mounted nacelles.

meh after great success with last moon shot, I couldn't get the focus right for these ones at all!
ah well :) at least the reflection of the sun in this looks kinda cool
November 3rd, 2013. Agüimes, Gran Canaria. First batch taken with Canon 350D, solar filter and 250mm photo lens. Second batch taken with newton (f:750mm). Cloudy day, but could enjoy most of the eclipse anyway.
This photo was taken at 8:47PM CST just west of the Nebraska State Capitol Building. The sower statue atop the capitol is in the foreground. The moon is about three quarters eclipsed; it is blood red from the last rays of sun filtering through the earth's atmosphere.

Anoche fue el eclipse lunar, siempre llamativo por el efecto rojizo de la sombra que nos recuerda los augurios y presagios del pasado. Como no me encontraba muy fino con el enfoque me dedique a hacer pruebas, esta foto es con el duplicador 1.4x con lo que en teoría estamos hablando de 1200 mm con el factor de multiplicación de la cámara 1.6. Lástima que mi telescopio sea cutre, no saca suficiente definición, aunque al ser un 1200 más la cámara 1.6, la toma consigue ser un primerísimo primer plano.
