Gradual eclipse in Cairo

Eclipse using tungsten white balance. Photo taken in Tabasco, Mexico

The Sun was partly eclipsed by the Moon at sunrise, but cloud was in the way until short before the end of eclipse, around 09:30 UT. This unprocessed image was taken with 800 mm focal length, f/12.6, from Blackford Hill, Edinburgh. Due to cloud no filter could/needed to be used. The leftmost part of the Sun is obscured by the Moon.

Before the eclipse on August 21, 2017, at the Arboretum at Penn State.

For observers in Europe, only the beginning of the total lunar eclipse on December 21, 2010 was visible. In this picture, the partially eclipsed moon is setting behind a group of trees in a winter landscape in Austria.

Exposure was 1/13 second (Canon EOS 300D at ISO 200) trough a 90/1000mm Refractor.

Lunar Eclipse on January 20-21 2019

An anticipated 85% partial solar eclipse obscured by clouds at Ness Point, Lowestoft. At 9:35 it was much like any December day. High Tide.

We had a solar eclipse on April 8th. Unfortunatly, there were too many clouds.
