Frankfurt Skyline on the left behind the branches.
Two exposures blended together. One 1/250s and another 7min20s one for extra smooth water (ND3.0+ND2.1 Haida filters stacked).
This is my favourite photo from today and one of my favourites i've taken all year. (20)007 is currently Lothian Buses/East Coast Buses only 68 plate bus however that will change when 42 new purchased buses will enter service in the new New Year. For now here we see (20)007 leaving Lothian Road for Princes Street working a service 124 for North Berwick Tesco.
Nearest to the camera are East Coast Buses Dennis Trident/Plaxton Presidents 20625 and 20614. Also at the front is East Coast Buses Volvo B7RLE Eclipse Urban 10107. More Tridents and an Eclipse lurk behind.
A scenic location near to Dirleton in East Lothian as Volvo B8RLE / Wright Urban Eclipse number 10060 (SF17 VMJ) pulls in to the layby to pick up a well known name in our circles....if it hadn't been for Gregor Watson boarding here this bus would have flown past and I might have missed the shot altogether. Thanks Gregor you were a star that day!
East Coast Buses Volvo B7RLE Eclipse Urban 10197 loads up at Brunstane before heading off on service 113 to The Western General Hospital.
At the entrance to the German Christmas market is Volvo B8RLE / Wright Urban Eclipse, number 10059 (SF17 VMH) and so many people are drawn to the aromas of mulled wine, sausages and burgers.....and this year the new taste of bubbling Irn Bru....I don't quite though understand how that's in market like this!!!

Volvo B7RLE / Wright Urban Eclipse number 10102 (RIG 6492) is one of seven originally from Gravesend in Kent and now working along with 10101 on East Coast services.
As can be seen here East Lothian can be proud of their new bus fleet which serves Dunbar, East Linton, North Berwick, Gullane, Aberlady, Dirleton, Haddington and Musselburgh.
Smartly kept and maintained to Lothian's usual magnificent standards Ian McClavin, who drove them all for Fastrack says "it's nice to see them looking so good, they were fairly bashed about down here!"
East Coast Buses Volvo B9TL Gemini 20950, working the 104 to Haddington, meets Volvo B9TL Gemini 20942, operating the 113 for The Western General Hospital on a sunny Regent Road.
East Coast Buses, a subsidiary of Lothian Buses, purchased fifteen single deckers in 2017 mostly assigned for Services X5, X7 and 106 between Edinburgh City and East Lothian.
These are Volvo B8RLE / Wrightbus Urban Euro 6 vehicles and are Wright's longest ever single deckers, measuring 13.2 metres, just short of the new dual doored B8L Gemini 3's coming into service in the new year. There are similarities with the previous B7RLE but note the new style body front.
Number 10063 (SF17 VMM) is at the junction of Hanover Street with the Mound in the twilight hour.
