Stomach growl no more...

This isn't my photo, but I saw it on my friend's blog www.thepoetlaura-eate.blogspot.com and thought it perfectly caught the mood of the closure. The "dead man walking" security guard makes it a very poignant image...

Kakkukuoleman ovi kävi tiuhaan, ja kaikki kakkupalat katosivat illan aikana parempiin suihin. Oikealla Annaleena Väliaho.

Kakkukuolema ("Killed by a Cake") café was extremely popular. All the delicious cakes were eaten during the evening. Annaleena Väliaho on the right.

The Faerie Queene

by Edmund Spenser

Of things vnseene how canst thou deeme aright,

Then answered the righteous Artegall,

Sith thou misdeem'st so much of things in sight?

What though the sea with waues continuall

Doe eate the earth, it is no more at all:

Ne is the earth the lesse, or loseth ought,

For whatsoeuer from one place doth fall,

Is with the tide vnto an other brought:

For there is nothing lost, that may be found, if sought.
