I want to do trials on my Fuji X10 but it was raining in the weekend.
I am bound to stay indoor. I went to the shopping mall and I believe this little camera may be good for candids. There are tons of people in the shopping centre.
This shot taken at the pet store is not a good test for the camera anyway. It was taken through the shop window.
It is important for the auto-everything camera to be easy to use and responsive. I think the image stablization, white balance and exposure are good in the X10. There are good details in the picture although it is always hard for you to check the depth of view in the small LCD screen.
The sleeping kitties shot was taken at Richmond Centre shopping mall. This is one of my test shots for my new Fuji X10 compact camera.

It's What's For Breakfast
I've only recently discovered Simple Mills products. I never used to use packaged mixes (from conventional grocery stores) because they were always full of sugar and chemicals. Just reading the labels made me cringe! Simple Mills uses delicious simple "healthy" ingredients. I've made their brownies, flatbread, pizza bread and muffins. This Pancake Waffle Mix one is a new one for me and the resulting waffles were perfect, I will make them again! I recommend these!
After 20 years of using a Lawn Boy mower, Stu bought us a new Toro. Our big mower is also a Toro. This one has so many cool features. It is self-propelled which means I don't have to push it hard to get it to move. The oil never needs changing, you just keep adding it into the machine and it has a little hose end where you hook up a garden hose, turn it on and that's how you clean it, no more turning it upside down and scraping the grass off. Wish they had thought of that years ago!

When I was at REI on July 1st, returning the Villa, I was looking for a big car-camping tent to replace it.
I was looking for a tent just like the Half Dome pictured above (2 minute setup), only about a foot higher and large enough for two more people. Apparently such a tent (with full fly) does not exist.
