Cranes work round the clock to strengthen dam walls and push mud to exit into the Porong river to channel it into the sea. Since last year, mud has been gushing out of a East Java drilling site, swamping 800 hectares of homes, factories, agricultural land, roads and railway tracks, displacing more than 150,000 people.
