Here's a blooper shot from day 5 of my southwest tour, it is the only time that Wayne turned a light on during one of my exposures, He had picked up my Brinkman 2 million candlepower torch lamp to test it's ability to reflect light. We were getting the lighting setup and he turned it on and shined it around. and said, I really like the color of this lamp and noticed I was exposing. Ooops!! No problems, we went on shooting the rest of the night.

Somehow when we arrived back at the cars later that morning it seemed like it was 4am when really it was 5:00 Then again, this was day 5 of the trip and I was already walking around like a zombie. :/ Who knows where that time went, but it was time well spent I say!!!

Funny thing is, one of the first comments I made to Wayne here on Flickr was about alien abductions. :)

Thank you for taking the time to visit and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are greatly appreciated!! :) Have a Happy New Year one and all. :)

Ursa beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever been, although the path to the beach is not easiest one. Highly recommend if you are visiting in Lisbon/Sintra.

Some dispersal takes place in Winter when the species turns up on sheltered coasts and estuaries. Observation tips, its presence is easiest to detect by listening for its characteristic whinnying call, patient observation of marginal vegetation then usually yields sightings. However, birds spend comparatively little time at the surface between dives.

Striking diving duck of coastal harbors, mountain lakes, and large rivers. Very similar to Common Goldeneye. Males are easiest: Barrow’s has more black on the back, a downward-pointing spur on the side, and a crescent-shaped (not circular) white patch on the face. Females can be very difficult. Barrow’s usually has a yellow bill, but Common can rarely show a dull yellowish bill. Head and bill shape are important: Barrow’s has a steeper forehead and a puffy nape, and a shorter bill with a more rounded lower edge. Fairly common in western U.S. and Canada; much less common in the northeast. Small population in Iceland. Frequently found in mixed flocks with Common Goldeneye. (eBird)

We went for an evening drive during my covid quarantine on a quest to hear Flammulated Owl. It was a remote area so no chance of running into people. No owl, but a host of other nice, if noisy (photographically speaking), birds.

This year certainly has not been the easiest one....the world has suffered. We need some healing. I still believe in the good in people, in the good and kindness of humanity.

Merry Christmas to all of my friends. ♥

May your Christmas be filled with love, peace, and a renewed hope for a better 2021.

Believe.

And to the one I so love and cherish...2020 will be special for me, because I found you, amidst all of this chaos.

Not the easiest of locations on the busy access road in a dark, mainly poorly backlit hedge; and pot luck if it shows tolerably for photos to boot. Pleased to have got something.

Thanks for viewing and thank you for your faves and comments.

... and dogs ...it might not be the easiest endeavor to attempt, and these two whippersnappers are a handful, but it is a lotta fun! I have survived last week's rambunctious real life Corgi/plush toy debacle and my back is now feeling pretty close to a hundred percent, which shocks me because I was on the verge of thinking I needed medical intervention just to move after it happened, good grief! Thank you to everyone for the well wishes and positive energy and advice, you guys were right about heat and ice, it worked! 😊❤️

And this goat, oh my goodness, when I saw these goats at Arcade, I knew I had to have the black one! He is oh so chic and was the perfect finishing touch to a black outfit, and let's be honest, black outfits rock! This skirt, yeah, I dunno. Casual shopping attire, you know! In real life, this would be switched for a cute denim mini minus the suspect side slits, and I'd call it done! Goat, optional! haha

I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start with only pain-free happy moments! xo 💞

Pigeons are among the easiest birds to shoot - and all I've managed in the past were a couple of static shots (even though I had very long zooms on previous cameras).. I must buy a telephoto lens for the Nex and try again. In the meantime a Fuji shot from the archives used to test Picasa.

====I know you've got the best intentions

Just trying to find the right words to say

I promise, I've already learned my lesson

But right now I wanna be not okay

I'm so tired, sitting here waiting

If I hear one more "Just be patient"

It's always gonna stay the same

So let me just give up

So let me just let go

If this isn't good for me

Well I don't wanna know

Let me just stop trying

Let me just stop fighting

I don't want your good advice

Or reasons why I'm alright===

For some of us this time of year is not the easiest including myself so I did this winter scene capture as a tribute to my parents who I lost years ago on December 24th.

My Mom and Dad loved the winter scenes on the Christmas cards they would get in the mail from their family and friends and this capture reminded me of watching my Mom smiling with every card she opened passing them to my father saying "Oh look at this one hun".♥

The spirit of Christmas is all around us and so are the memories of our loved ones who we once shared it with so for them I carry the spirit and memories of Christmas in my heart....and now I share it with you.

The music I have chosen really reminds me that they are not so far away hope you take a moment to listen and feel it cause I do.

♥Merry Christmas Mom and Dad I love you♥ Rip

ONE OF THE EASIEST, birds to observe, common everywhere, a good garden visitor, and the only bird to use my nesting boxes, in the late summer, we have youngsters everywhere, but they are beautiful and very entertaining!

White-throated sparrows were the most common sparrow at Cardinal Marsh today. They are one of the easiest sparrow species to ID with that distinctive white throat.

Silvretta pass, Austria. The easiest way to the pass is by car, as you can see. Too many, unfortunately, especially in summer. Most people stay in the restaurants or have a quick look at the lake, before driving further. However, when you walk 10 minutes from the parking spot, the only thing you see and hear is nature. And nature around this lake is magnificient!

Taking pictures of gulls is the easiest way to learn in flight pictures, because gulls aren’t very afraid of human. This way you can improve your bird photography skills. I took this picture 1/800s even with slower shutter speed for bird in flight my ISO is 250. The weather is cloudy but very hot. Gulls likes lakes and the sea, so it is easy to find a location for gulls. I need to post one picture a day, but I cannot. Have a great day!

The succulent plant popularly known as aranto, mother of a thousand or mother of thousands is perhaps the easiest to grow, as well as the fastest propagating plant. The Kalanchoe daigremontiana lives up to its nickname, producing thousands of seedlings at the speed of light.

The genus Kalanchoe, belonging to the Crassulaceae family, originates from tropical regions of the African continent, being quite common on the island of Madagascar.

The aranto or mother of thousands, in turn, belongs to the Kalanchoe daigremontiana species. It is a very common succulent plant in collections, due to its resistance and ease of cultivation. However, as it multiplies very quickly, it can become a problem, thanks to this invasive profile. Over time, it can be difficult to control its propagation in pots, flower beds and gardens. As its name implies, aranto has the ability to generate new shoots along all the edges of its leaves. These seedlings stand out very easily, generating new individuals when they fall to the ground.

Despite this inconvenience, the ornamental and curious effect of the leaves embroidered by countless sprouts is undeniable. Very often, they start to take root, still attached to the mother plant. In this same genus of Aranto, there is still another species, Kalanchoe delagoensis, which also has this characteristic of producing buds on the edges of the leaves. She is also known as the mother of a thousand or the mother of thousands. However, its leaves are much narrower and longer, it is a different species from the aranto in appearance. It is called on the outside the chandelier plant, or chandelier plant.

Plants grow up to 1 m (3 ft 3 in) tall and have opposite and whorled, fleshy oblong-lanceolate leaves which grow up to 20 cm (8 in) long and 32 mm (1+1⁄4 in) wide. They are green above and blotched with purple underneath. Leaf margins have spoon-shaped bulbiliferous spurs which bear plantlets which may form roots while still attached to leaves.

All parts of this species contain a very toxic steroid known as daigremontianin.

Amaryllis are among the easiest, most dependable plants for blooming indoors. This first stalk has 4 blossoms, and another stalk will come along later on. The colour of this white amaryllis is creamy with subtle greens and yellows. It is definitely a favorite of mine especially at this time of the year when it is cold and snowy outside.

One of the easiest and most rewarding hikes in recent times, trail nr. 549 took us from the Christomannos eagle bronze monument to the Roda di Vael refuge and then eventually towards the Tscheiner Spitze, visible on the upper left. The light was incredible and the clouds added that dynamic element that i'm always looking for. Amazing Dolomites, even the food at the hut behind us was excellent... ;-)

Dying is the easiest thing in the world. But to live in this world is the most difficult part. I can choose to die at anytime. As long as I am dead, I am free from all the bitterness of life.

A slide I took in Summer 1982. It wasn't the easiest of slides to get an image from, and it's a reminder for me to get going with restoration, whilst I can still pull something out of them.

It's taken with a Pentax MX inside a Land-Rover 109 Station Wagon. It's overlooking fields in Essex from a huge private field. It's also a photo that's impossible to recreate, as a decade or so later, the land was sold off separately from the house that owned it, and it was bought by the Corporation Of London to integrate into Fernhills, a wood in Epping Forest. You wouldn't know this was once fields for horses now.

This might have been the easiest image I've put together. I was completely in love with this set by Belle Epoque the moment I unpacked it, it went perfectly with this octopus I've had forever but never found a good use for -- and I happened to find the perfect sim in SL to set the scene: Splash Beach. I've found that the easiest way for me to keep track of the upcoming themes for the various Flickr groups that I post to is to write each group's theme on a sheet of yellow pad paper. I fold it up and carry it in my shirt pocket for quick reference, so it gets kinda tattered by the time the sheet fills up.

When each theme passes, I cross it off, and check it if I post an image for it. As you can see here, this week's "Paper" theme for MM (Macro Monday) has been checked; that's thanks to this image. As for CT (Crazy Tuesday)...well, that's still pending. :-)

Glorybower is one of the easiest, most delightful tropical shrubs I know. It fills medians and surrounds homes. It's beautiful in bloom and in seed... in fact, it's spectacular! I love all its phases! Search my photostream for more views of this glorious plant.

ONE of the easiest birds to observe in Britain on a daily basis, the juvenile above is similar to the adult but the colours are subdued, particularly the blue elements of the plumage. Sometimes images turn out to be rubbish, other times they turn out better than expected, so I have posted it, hope your find it acceptable !

The easiest thing to be in the world is you. The most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be. Don't let them put you in that position.

[Leo Buscaglia]

This is definitely the easiest bluet to identify! Whoever named it must have been colorblind since it certainly is not blue! Males are bright orange, though females can be yellow, green or blue. Damselflies are famous for forming this mating wheel which often takes the shape of a heart - skewed a bit to the left here.

Slimbridge Wetland Centre in Gloucestershire is probably the easiest place in the UK to see wild cranes. The birds that were released in Somerset for the Great Crane Project frequently fly up the Severn Estuary to the wetlands of Slimbridge and several have adopted it as their permanent home. Throughout the year they are seen flying overhead and feeding and socialising in front of the hides.

Of the 93 cranes released as part of the Great Crane Project over the past five years, 75 are still alive and well and living in Somerset or at Slimbridge. Each bird is individually marked with leg rings, as can be seen in this picture.

The Adult male Red heads are perhaps the easiest to recognize in the open water of lakes and coast lines. There cinnamon colored heads and subtle body markings make them easily identifiable. A bird found mainly on the plains and the western USA can some times be found on the North East. They take Brood parasitism to another level, when they will lay there eggs in not just other ducks nest but even other Red Heads. Reports exist of them laying eggs in even Northern Harrier nest, probably not the smartest idea.

These are some of the easiest birds to capture in flight. This one was clicked as it slowed down in its approach to its nest. Due to habitat loss and human disturbance, the Spot-billed Pelican's numbers have declined in Southeast Asia where earlier they thrived. The only place where their populations are on the rise is in southern India which has lead to their status being changed from Vulnerable to Near Threatened in 2007. The Specific name refers to the Philippines, where the species was abundant in the early 1900s but had become locally extinct in the 1960s.
