So magical so beautiful! I am so in love with photography and graphic arts. My only wish is to be able to earn enough money for living doing exactly that. God Bless!

Here are some shot of Edrelle and her friends sharing a drink at the Nightgate inn, sharing kind words and a tale. Elouen had lead the group to the inn from the lakeside, knowing the area, up a twisting path, the inn nestled among bright snowberries and tall pines swaying slightly in the wind, mist drifting across the quiet pond nearby.
I will be away till Sunday visiting some family so I guess you could say I am having a little respite like the group is ;) Will try to keep with peoples work here and on the nexus.
Loch Earn is a fresh water loch 17km west of Crieff in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The loch is the source of the River Earn which eventually joins the River Tay near the village of Bridge of Earn in Perthshire.
Grandma professionally told fortunes to earn extra cash but her hobby was to make beautiful , decorative objects with her hands and then gave them away to her friends as presents . A popular and well-liked figure among the village folks .
This image was captured in the 1980s using negative film and the print was recently scanned and photoshopped to make it presentable again .

A volunteer worker takes a breather from sprucing up Appleby station on 16 June 2021 and is rewarded with the fine sight of 37425 “Concrete Bob” and 37402 “Stephen Middlemore 23.12.54 – 8.6.2013” passing through with 6K05, DRS’ 1246 Carlisle yard - Crewe Basford Hall departmental.
Immediately to the right of 37425 is the water crane and brazier funded by the Appleby Round Table for the replenishment of thirsty steam locomotives. The crane and the associated water tower were re-constructed in 1991.
I took this shot today from our house here at Alki Beach in Seattle. Winds were blowing 40 knots, with very sloppy seas. This is the tug Redwood City working hard to weather. This crew earned their paychecks today!
50 007 & 50 049 worked a DB Cargo operated London Victoria to Worcester (1Z95/1Z96) and return today with the VSOE stock. 50 007 & 049 are seen berthed outside the Electric sheds at Stewarts Lane before heading back to the Severn Valley Railway in the morning.

Finally earned my Keithlug wings! This guy managed to sneak into a few of the shots in Mr. Goldman's epic A Bust Stop in Bucharest.
The cab was inspired by airport vehicles and staring at too much Chris Foss / Angus McKie / Peter Elson and wanting to emulate that classic 70's style. The trailer I wanted to look utilitarian and dangerous.
Thanks Keith, it's been an honor!

Many thanks to all those who take the time to look at fave and comment on my photos. Although I do not reply to each and everyone they are all truly appreciated and welcome.

This little jetty belongs to a hotel on the banks of Loch Earn. In the winter, as here, the top wooden planks are removed and then replaced in the spring for the summer season.
Still earning its keep after 49 years service. 31190 propels a westbound test train, probably a route learner, past South Stoke in freezing conditions
At the time the loco was part of the Hanson Traction fleet, but this company was merged into British American Railway Services in 2010 and the locomotive assets rebranded as Devon and Cornwall Railways
This view is no longer possible due to the erection of the masts for the GWML electrification
My last Class 70! Colas 70803 powers north through Langley Mill in charge of 6C89, the 09.57 loaded ballast from Mountsorrel Sidings to Carlisle New Yard.
Single figures at last! Only 9 current UK mainline locos to photograph now (not including those currently at Longport which have yet to enter revenue earning traffic).
I took this picture at the end of the day yesterday in Chileno Valley. A rare splash of Fall color for this corner of California, most of our indigenous trees (which these are not) are evergreen. We're having some pretty surreal lighting because of the smoke from the Butte country fires. In fact, the dry leaves were rustling in the devil winds that are driving the fires as I took the shot.
Personally, I'm safe and really far from the actual fires, though we had a small grass fire a couple of hundred yards from my place last night, which was dealt with swiftly by the Novato Fire Department.
As the name suggests, this valley was settled by Chilean immigrants back in the day, and still farmed. Como su nombre indica, este valle fue poblado por inmigrantes chilenos en el pasado, y aún se cultiva.
A little bit of Destiny for you today, enjoy!

This shot is a testament of knowing the limits of your equipment's metering and focusing capabilities and when to compensate for it.
This shot the smoke rendered the auto focus useless the metering with the smoke takes some practice. To over come this of course manual focus, I used the in camera spot meter on the fire fighter . I have been doing this so long it second nature for me through years of practice
