They also learn about shapes and numbers, use scissors, draw and write, make guesses about what is going to happen, learn about the world, and be creative at Howard County Library Eldridge Branch.

Ngqongeni Crèche is awaiting full Partial Care Registration. As part of the Strategic ECD Infrastructure Support programme it received a new 2 classroom unit, kitchen, pantry, toilet facilities, jungle gym, fencing and signage.

Maryland Wolf Trap teaching artist Josette Young brought her residency to the PreK classrooms of Halls Cross Elementary School in Aberdeen, MD. The students read with Ms. Josette, practiced shapes, and danced and moved with partners to music inspired by the spirit of Carnival.
3/31/25 - Families with children ages birth to five take part in an interactive storytelling experience featuring County Executive Dr. Calvin Ball and HCLS Early Childhood Education Specialist Alishia Chandler at Howard County Library System, Miller Branch.
