One half of the Class 210 units, 210002, is photographed at Ealing Broadway with a Newbury-Paddington service in August 1984. This unit was formed of three cars, whereas 210001 was formed of 4 cars. The pair of DEMU prototypes proved too complex and costly for further units to be produced, and both were withdrawn by 1987/88......

HST Power Car 43161 has a trailer car and what looks like a barrier vehicle in tow. Sent out on test by Old Oak perhaps?

9523 SN59AWU seen at Shepherd's Bush working on route 207 towards Hayes-by-Pass.
Much of the former 414 E400s are gone now, though 4 still remain with Abellio London with the odd one out being 9523 working at Armstrong Way either on 207 or 427 plus the occasional rail work.
as it was once known. A terrace of four Late Georgian/Early Victorian homes that were quite run down when I first arrived in Ealing forty years ago.

I think the E10 was supposed to be operated by smaller Mercedes buses (MA class).

A busy day at Ealing Broadway, with 'Steam on The Met' bringing the crowds in, not the London Underground 'S-Stock' Unit No. 21329 that is easing into the station with a District Line service. The real attraction was ex-Metropolitan Railway No. 1 working to Kensington High Street, the arrival and departure of which had been delayed. 50010 'Monarch' at West Ealing, heading an afternoon Paddington-Oxford Train in july 1988. The Hoover would sadly be withdrawn just a couple of months later.
