Taken at Patriots Point, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, USA. This is part of the aircraft exhibit aboard the USS Yorktown. Skywarriers began service in 1956 as a carrier based strategic bomber. The EA-3B Skywarrior was an electronic reconnaissance version developed in the late 1950s. This version operated from aircraft carriers until 1988 and land based facilities until September, 1991. The Skywarrior was the largest and heaviest aircraft to regularly operate from an aircraft carrier, earning the nickname "Whale".
Our family picked up the tradition of doing Christmas Crackers when we lived in England. This year, EA's boyfriend Scott decided to utilize those crackers to give EA something special. Several of us were in on it (I was assigned photography duties). Here she is using all her might to pop her cracker. EA - you might want to start working out if a cracker is this strenuous ;).

EA-6B Makes a couple of lumber and LOUD approaches to 28L... You dont see these guys as much as you would think.
Signs: as I drove around town... I was shocked and amazed to note how entirely too many signs, not to mention actual billboards we have for podunk Hood[y-ville] River.
This one in particular caught my eye... the "easy way out" that can entice and entrap all too many, especially those who least can crawl out of the hole they've begun; this option being the last thing they should even contemplate.
however, look closely... the man's right hand grab cracks me up!
EA's friend Megan joined us all of us at Grams and Pop's house for the Army/Navy game. Leah wasn't that into the football, but Megan was kind enough to entertain her a bit.
