From Airplane flyby. I had my Hasselblad 500 CM and got this shot. I finally had my negatives professionally scanned so this is a better version of one I uploaded some time ago that I'd scanned from a photo.

Everest, known as Sagarmāthā in Nepal and Chomolungma in Tibet had snow blowing off the peak on a really clear morning. A nice view of Lhotse and Nuptse on the right.

Beautiful view From Gokyo Ri 5360m.

"It's the cure, it's a poison, I don't have a choice in

The silent defiance that I find my voice in

'Cause I have decided to just keep going

It's the rush, it's the feeling that keeps me believing

That I have the strength when I don't have a reason

To fight is my vice when I don't have the right

To just keep going."

Mount Everest (1/3)

Its height is 8,848 meters (or 29,029 feet) above sea level. This imposing work of nature is located on the international border between China and Nepal. The mountain is so high that it usually drags a cloud with it, because of the rotation of the earth.

When you look at the sky and see a commercial plane, very small there above, consider that Everest peak has such a height. Not for nothing in Tibet is it called "Mother of the Universe".

Mt. Everest with snow plume. Re-edit.

For today I have another photograph from my 2014 trip to Khumbu region in #Nepal. An impressive view of Lhotse and the Everest on the left, protruding above the ridge.

Ever thought of standing and breathing in front of the top of the world. Well the path is very accessible to it’s visitors but not so easy if you are not used to trekking in high mountain areas.

There are some Challenges you might face while trekking to everest base camp

. Altitude sickness(biggest danger is being at high altitude where your body gets less oxygen which can cause AMS, which can be fatal if it develops to HACE or HAPE. Do research more on this topic).

. Extreme weather and flight cancellation(weather is unpredictable so the flight can be delayed or you might not land in lukla and get diverted for hours to an airport in the middle of nowhere before finally having to land)( pre information is highly required to trek in nepal)

. Food stomach troubles and tea house conditions (If you are not careful while choosing tea houses and guest houses for your spending your night you might get stomach troubles due to not so good conditions of few tea houses, and trust us everest region is no good place to get your stomach ache, so it is highly recommended to spend few extra dollars and stay in a good quality hotel)

Aerial photo of the Everest Group seen from the south, with the highest mountain on the planet, Mount Everest (second peak from the left). The three-sided pyramid shaped peak covered with huge glaciers is behind the mountains Nuptse (left) and Lhotse (right, its peak almost in front of Mt. Everest). Mount Everest's height (without snow) is 8 848 m (29 029 ft) above sea level.

Flight Kunming,China-Kathmandu, Nepal (I wish plane window were more clean and distortion free)

Saving the highest for last in the #HighestPeaks series, it is of course: Mount Everest. One of the harder summits to spot from space, as the whole Himalayas are huge mountains!

Expedition Everest

Disney's Animal Kingdom

Walt Disney World, Fla.

What a thrill it was to finally do some photography at Animal Kingdom at night. It's a great reason to visit Orlando in the winter since the sun sets so early and the park was open until 8pm this particular night.

We were so busy trying to photograph as much as we could that we never even got to ride Everest. I don't think it even crossed my mind until reviewing the shots.

Sounds like a good reason to go back again!

from Renjo La on the 3 passes trek, with the big one taking pride of place in the centre of pic

One of the popular attractions at Disney is Expedition Everest rollercoaster. It was overcast but very appealing for photographers. Clouds can bring that dramatic look.

Stone from Everest Base Camp Tibet.

A misty sunrise over Mt Everest, also known as Chomolungma or Sagarmatha, towering above at a massive 8,848 metres (29,029 ft). The summit of Mt Everest has less then 33% of the oxygen available at sea level. I hiked up Kala Pattar 5,644.5 m (18,519 ft) in the dark with a head torch three mornings in a row in an attempt to get this shot. At 5500m you have exactly 50% of the Oxygen available at sea level. The highest mountain on earth, Mt Everest is in the Mahalangur Range of the Himalayas and sits on the international border between China (Tibet Autonomous Region) and Nepal. Photo taken on Fiji Velvia slide film.
