“In The Dynamics of Creation, Anthony Storr, the British psychiatrist, contends that an individual who “fears love almost as much as he fears hatred” may turn to creative activity not only out of an impulse to experience aesthetic pleasure, or the delight of exercising an active mind, but also to defend himself against anxiety stimulated by conflicting demands for detachment and human contact.21”

This scene with a storm that just passed, as seen n the distance. shows the amazing colors and vibrancy in the knolls, and peaks! It also is a wonderful cross section of the Badland's varied rock formations and dynamics!
The first of two FMI crews to come down the hill on this Wednesday wasted no time on an early 0900 departure from the mine. With a clean FMI 50 in charge of four sister units, the train descends the 5% grade into Clifton with dynamics screaming.
CN #2001 leads strings of loads down Proctor Mountain. As this train descending the hill, the dynamic brakes were screaming all the way down to Hallet Dock #5 to prep the dock for the next incoming ship.
8th July 2012 - General Dynamics F-16AM Falcon 'J-015' of the Royal Netherlands F16 Display team from 312 Sqn / Volkel Wing.
A great scheme and a great dispay. It would be good to see the team back one day, but maybe when we are a little less swamped with F16 display teams..
There was a lot going on here along the shore, but the elements came together nicely here - I shot this with a shorter exposure (couple seconds), and hoped the clouds were moving enough to add some movement dynamics with the much longer exposure, so added the ND filter and let the camera do the rest.

This was some interesting dynamics we observed last year. The charging bear on the left of the frame is a sow with her cub on her right side in the frame. Then there is another sow to that cub's right in the frame and she has 3 smaller cubs.
The sow with the 3 smaller cubs were in that spot fishing when the sow in the left of the frame and her cub approached and seemed to be greeted by the others.
So we figured the two sows must be sisters because that normally wouldn't happen. The sow with the 3 little cubs would probably not have allowed the other sow and her cub to get so close
This is cropped quite a lot.
Just some interesting interactions
