Morven did indeed make the step up to a principal role, namely 'Babette' the feather duster - and I'd say the best French accent of the castle staff - in last month's performance of Beauty and the Beast at Buxton Opera House. Unsurprisingly, she was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed watching her dance during 'Be Our Guest' each night.
Here she is with her usual Gigawatt smile, waiting sidestage to go back on, lit by spill and outlined by the blue safe lighting. Some people are easy to shoot - and Morv is one of them. Once again I had immense fun with her and Rob. I hope they'll be back after their break.

The Majorette Dacia Duster has been around pretty much as long as the real vehicle and has been updated whenever its counterpart does. A little nip and tuck here and there plus updated grille and badging is a cost effective way of keeping it relevant and fresh as well as a multitude of different colours and liveries.
I came across this dark blue version, which I hadn't encountered before, in a Toys R Us in Tokyo where it is sold under the Kabaya brand and thus also comes with a free stick of horribly tasting chewing gum!
Solid, well cast and proportioned with precise detailing, working suspension and opening rear hatch.
Mint and boxed.
when i think of it, i try to dust off things that are going to be photographed in macro with this make-up blusher type brush. but often i forget
M42 DUSTER
Self-propelled 40 MM Anti-aircraft Gun System. In 1951 production started on the M-42. Production stopped in Dec 1953 after the Cadillac motors car division of General Motors made 3,700. Many components are also used in the M41 light tank and the M37 self-propelled 105 mm gun. A 6 man grew was need to fire and load the two 40 mm guns. Although they never really saw much action as anti-aircraft weapons, the M42's two gun were highly effective in the ground support role in Vietnam. 480 40mm rounds were carried. The engine is a continental AOS-895-3 6-cylinder, air-cooled supercharged gasoline engine, 500 hp.
