Plymouth Duster 340 1970. The original rear lamps were inset and caused rust to form. The flat bootlid had no handle and could be creased by enthusiastic closing and was revised for 1971.
This was the crop duster that sprays next to our house. Spraying the cotton fields. Taking these pictures was alot harder than I thought.

I guess people used to roll their own cigarettes. They would take the paper out and put the tobacco in the paper and roll the paper. The date on the Durham tobacco said October 1, 1918. That might have been the date the company started.

Well Justin, I did email you about this at the end of January but you don't write, you don't phone ... and you haven't corrected the mistake!
.

Pattern: Tilted Duster from Interweave Knits, Fall 2007
Yarn: Berroco Peruvia, Colour: Gris Carlo (light grey). I am pretty sure I used 6 skeins
Size: I made a size 32 (small) on 5.5mm needles for the body and skirt and 6.0mm that the pattern suggests for the sleeves.
I made a couple alterations here - I had to make the body (upper front left and right and back sections) longer - by about 2 inches -so that the skirt line fell more like an empire waist rather than right in the middle of my chest (I had to frog it because it looked really bizarre the original way). I also lengthened the skirt a bit, and after the first two sets of decreases/increases on the skirt I cut the number of dec/inc rows in half so that I wouldn't run out of rib right away on the front and so the sides wouldn't be quite so wide.
The yarn is really soft on the skein, but quite itchy on - hopefully it will soften when washed more, but if I wear a long sleeve underneath it is perfect - and very warm. Sheds a bit, but not too bad, and that was expected.
Generally I think the pattern was very well written and it was really quick ( 9 days!) and really easy. I think I will wear it quite often this winter.

Lined up outside of the show are many classic cars. Very nice owners bring their pride and joys out and share them visitors of the AIAS. This 72 Duster looks just as great as it did rolling out of the showroom at the dealership. It truly looks great!!!
