Going back to my Elementary School roots with this one. Jordan is the Mayor of Dunk City, in case you hadn't heard.

Jayson Burke, 2012 McDonald's Senior Slam Dunk Champion

One of the last gems from my first grail list I made 4 years ago. The killer all leather SB Dunks based on Robotech. Doesn't get much cooler than this, plus got 'em dirt cheap. Wore them the second I took them out of the box. They didnt come with the original pink box, but I may just make my own Robotech themed stickers to slap on a box.

My photos from Slam Dunk South 2016

Slam Dunk is perhaps my favorite anime of all time. Here's a figure of Sakuragi Hanamichi which was released recently. Background not so good, but I still like the picture.

View of the reconstructed Dunker Church on the Antietam Battlefield.

During the battle of Antietam, a number of Union attacks were directed at Confederates in the vicinity of the Dunker Church, which was mentioned in the post-battle reports of many officers on both sides. Some of the church's battle scars can be seen in a photo of dead soldiers in front of Dunker Church. Confederate forces used the church as a medical aid station, and at least one report said it was a Union embalming station. Only 10 years old at the time of the September 17, 1862 battle, the church that had figured prominently in the battle and its aftermath was abandoned by the congregation, which built a new church nearby in Sharpsburg. Weathered and vandalized, the old church finally fell during a severe storm in 1921. The church shown above is a reconstruction of the original, built by the National Park Service on the foundation of the original, in time for the 1962 centennial of the Civil War battle. Antietam National Battlefield Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1966 (#66000038); it encompasses 32,496 acres and includes 70 buildings, 13 structures, and 9 "objects".

My perspective on the church was influenced not only by light, but also by the desire to eliminate (or at least minimize) evidence of construction activity. Look closely at the back corner of the church and you can see some scaffolding, and some construction barricades are barely outside the photo on the left. Sprucing up of some Antietam structures was underway when we visited, presumably in preparation for the 150th anniversary of the battle in September.

Laraxa scores a skull dunk! Woot!

Bar Shouldered Dove

This is me dunking, the goal is *not* quite the full regulation 10ft. Its a few inches shorter.

I can also dunk on a 10ft goal..although not quite like this.

FORT BELVOIR, VA. (September 30, 2022)--

Staff members of the Belvoir Hospital join together for a few hours during an Esprit de Corps “One Team Festival” held in the hospital’s garden September 30, 2022. From food trucks to dunk tanks, from service dogs to Tug-of-War, the opportunity for bonding and socialization, for the first time since the onset of the Pandemic, was met with smiles and a deeper appreciation for this the organization and each other.

The Belvoir Hospital is a 120-bed, 1.3 million-square-foot military community hospital that serves a regional population of 250,000 personnel with about 100,000 enrollees receiving inpatient and specialty care services supported by 55 specialty clinics, a Warrior Pavilion (for combat injured/wounded/ ill), Inpatient Addictions Program, and three satellite family health centers at the Pentagon, Dumfries and Fairfax, Va.
