I hope you're up to date with your tetanus shots.
A scene taken from Book 1 of "Dungeon Crawler Carl".
This small micro cathedral is heavily inspired by the Tristram Cathedral in Diablo 1!
Huge shoutout for Jakobkaisermocs for helping me out with the shaping of it!
Hope you like it :)
Grimbash, aka "the skullcrusher", isn’t the type of half-orc who relies on finesse. Subtlety isn’t even a concept he’s aware of—he just lets his hulking double-sided hammer do all the talking, and by “talking,” I mean reducing anything in its path to a fine, bloody pulp.

Dungeon Crawler Carl... ever heard of it?
If you haven't...
New quest! I'm sorry but you better clear your calendar for the coming days because you must now read (or listen) to every goddamnit book in the series!
If you already knew DCC (or if you just completed the above quest)...
New achievement! You are now beyond saving and - like me - you are hopelessly addicted. Congrats you nerd junkie!
Reward: You can now showoff your skills at building up the Dungeon!
----------
The story of DCC is an insane mix of Scfi battle royale post-apoc madness taking place in a D&D/video game RPG world... and it is absolutely hilarious.
Also, a talking cat. And dinosaurs.
This render features a scene taking place a few pages into the first book. We can see Carl, in his underwear and wearing pink crocks... and Donut - Carl's ex-girlfriend's cat - who are about to enter the Dungeon.
The LEGO version of the cover of Dungeon Crawler Carl book 1.
Carl (still barefooot and in his boxer shorts) and Princess Donut are running for their lives, chased by a Goblin Murder Dozer.
And yes, those are pineapples.
Just when you thought you found a cool item... ✨
Origami Mimic monster form the Dark Soul videogame series, designed and folded by me from a 35x35 cm duo sandwich paper
Honestly? I wanted to play a 1st-level male wizard goblin, but since I was meeting everyone for the first time and didn't know the house rules, I kept it pedestrian.
And got hammered trying to save a rich kid trapped on top of a burning house. And now, I'm knee-deep in zombies.
Why didn't they just start with Keep on the Borderlands like everyone else?
Role-playing games can be the best fun in the world.
Playing a female character isn't all that different from playing a male. There are a few points where it matters, but really, in most campaigns you don't go to the creepy places. It just allows you a different point of view in the game world. I've played a lot of different monsters, species, and genders in various games...the whole point is to be something you're not for awhile.
For the record, here's Kitsune at level 1:

Once she levels, I'll be switching classes to wizard, then alternate between the two until I hit rogue 3/wizard 3...three words: Craft Wondrous Item. The whole character concept is a thief with a big bag of tricks, and a whole lot of attitude.
If she survives the zombie attack. Then maybe I'll go role up that goblin.
My DnD character in winter clothing for the her current campaign.

... Soundless predator is prowling through the darkness. Skinny wings are bearing against its back, paws are treading softly and scorpion tail is tembling a bit in wait for stinging the prey. Be very careful walking all alone throug the streets of ghost towns or somewhere in the mountains! But look, it's not an adult manticore, it's just a cub. Its mane has just started to grow and its roars sound more like cat's mews. If you start care about it now it can become a friend for you in future.
Actually Manticore is a creature from Persian mythology, you can read of it on wiki. My version of it looks much more like battle unit from my favorite castle Dungeon in Heroes of Might and Magic 3 =)
No sewing machine or any other kind of machine was used while creation. Hands, needles, threads and one pair of Manticora's teeth.

Played some DnD with some friends (my first time actually) and this is the character I came up with. His name is a play off the Latin name for squirrel sciuridae.
Sciuri (See-u-ree)
-Loner-ish
-Prefers to stick to rooftops, away from people
-Good climber, finding a-typical angles to fire from
-Archer Skills are mostly out of necessity not really enthusiastic about it
-Side Job: Messenger
