A few minutes after the sun cleared the mountains, the dunes lit up with yellow and orange light. This sand basin below High Dune still have some early morning shadows and texture from the wind.

The Stockton Beach Sand Dunes at the Anna Bay end. Had to walk in about 20 minutes to find a spot where the commercial operators hadn't disturbed the sand. Thanks for viewing.

This was taken at the bottom of one of the windblown sand dunes at Tamala Park. Its a really quiet peaceful spot where you can be alone in nature. I loved the subtle patterns the new san made as it slipped down the face of the dune. The colours on this bright day were outstanding.

The dunes of Julianadorp on a sunny summer evening. On top of the dunes one of the WWII bunkers of the Atlantikwall. These dark remains of the war built by the "Organisation Todt" can be found almost everywhere along the European West Coast. A silent reminder that peace is something worth to work for.
