A few minutes after the sun cleared the mountains, the dunes lit up with yellow and orange light. This sand basin below High Dune still have some early morning shadows and texture from the wind.
I do not know why the information is gone!! I took the picture with my old camara canon EOS 650D. With lens 10-18mm f/6.3 ISO 200 shutter speed 1/2500

The Stockton Beach Sand Dunes at the Anna Bay end. Had to walk in about 20 minutes to find a spot where the commercial operators hadn't disturbed the sand. Thanks for viewing.

Wind swept pattern of the sand at the sandblows at Tamal Park conservation area. such a beautiful peaceful place to spend time in winter.
The late afternoon wind has created ripples and waves in the sand leading to the large peaks shadowed from the setting sun in the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado.
A wild time we had there weather wise on this day, and made for some nice colors there with the wet sand in southern Utah.

The dunes of Julianadorp on a sunny summer evening. On top of the dunes one of the WWII bunkers of the Atlantikwall. These dark remains of the war built by the "Organisation Todt" can be found almost everywhere along the European West Coast. A silent reminder that peace is something worth to work for. Mostly I'm a sunset type of guy in the summer, however this one is at sunrise. The benefit is that you are alone and there is often limited wind. It was such a serene setting here at Terschelling. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, your visit is much appreciated
