An aging star's last hurrah is creating a flurry of glowing knots of gas that appear to be streaking through space in this close-up image of the Dumbbell Nebula, taken with NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. The Dumbbell, a nearby planetary nebula residing more than 1,200 light-years away, is the result of an old star that has shed its outer layers in a glowing display of colour. The nebula, also known as Messier 27 (M27), was the first planetary nebula ever discovered. French astronomer Charles Messier spotted it in 1764.
Photos taken over four nights on 9/22/17, 9/23/17, 10/16/17, and 10/17/17.

Minha segunda Dumbbell Nebula. Na minha opinião, bem melhor que a primeira! O tempo de exposição não foi muito diferente, porém com essa eu utilizei o filtro CLS Svbony. Essa é uma nebulosa fantástica para astrônomos amadores, mesmo com binóculos ou telescópios menores.
Canon T7 em foco primário num Telescópio Sky-watcher 200p, utilizando filtro CLS. Tirada dia 03/08/2020.
My second Dumbbell Nebula. I think its way better than the first one! The exposure time it's almost the same, but in this capture I used the CLS Svbony filter. This nebula is fantastic for amateurs astronomers, even with binocules or small telescopes.
