Leftover bits of rubbish sitting on the narrow edge of the building and the fence.

This section of Rha waterfall in Skye reminds me of an Old English Sheepdog (the Dulux dog for those of you who know the advert), hence the title!

Does Dulux still have those wonderful Whites? I know they had Blossom White but it might have looked "quite" different!

Taken early just before sunrise last Sunday morning. The houses along the seafront look like they have chosen their colours of the Dulux Chart.

Old paper rolled up and a small shell put in the crack, that's all.

The creamy white reminded me of the old Dulux adverts from the 80s, all sorts of shades of white they had.

Australian National's ill fated Explorer 'tourist' train seen crossing the South Para River at Gawler on 9 March 1994. Alco 'World' DL500B 961 was given a Dulux overhaul to haul the train earning it limited celebrity status in enthusiast circles. In 1994 it was only used twice, both corporate charters, and this was the return of the first of the two, from the Barossa Valley.

A pretty old shot of one of my favourite lighthouses, slowly losing it's colour. If only Dulux ever expressed interest after using it in one of it's adverts...

I do have some basic paints, but the only painting I'm any good at is with a can of Dulux and up a ladder painting walls and ceilings :))

A shot to show the size of one of my wee paint crowns.

In 1988 Bittern Was cosmetically restored at No 5 depot at ICI Wilton (Terylene workshops) to represent the first of the class 2509 Silver Link to celebrate the 50th anniversary of A4 locomotives. This is an ICI publicity photograph taken by Brian Fell of Hurworth Fell Photography Copyright ICI Chemicals and Polymers Ltd which no longer exists. This photo was taken on the exchange sidings at ICI Wilton. I have been told that "Bittern" had a brokenuu driving wheel at the time and went to the NRM at York by road. Paint supplied by ICI Dulux.

Possibly home to the local Dulux paint dealer, this blue bungalow sits above the harbour near Almuéñécar on Spain's southern coast.

After being launched during Easter week in 1993, it soon fell foul of the corporate bean counters at 1 Richmond Road, Keswick and was loaded up with numerous overhead costs which saw it quickly price itself out of the market.

In 1994 it was only used twice, both corporate charters. This was the first of the two, to the Barossa Valley. It went to Balaklava a couple of months later and then that was it. Arguably before it's time, it would probably turn a quid in these more hedonistic days.

A brother's love is a brother's love - a mural by Lee Harnden in Toowoomba, Queensland.

Toowoomba, on top of the Great Dividing Range about two hours west of Brisbane, Queensland is Australia's second largest inland city after the nation's capital, Canberra. It is the gateway to the flat agriculture and mineral/gas rich Darling Downs further west.

Toowoomba was more or less in at the early days of country murals and a lot of work in the city was laid down from 2014. The centre of the city has many examples, often by famous street art painters. Sadly, the ravages of graffiti people who have no respect for others' work and a harsh climate have seen many of the murals degraded one way or the other. I think many could use a new coat of Dulux, especially as the city promotes these as an attraction for tourists.

Enjoyed Autumn so much this year that we decided to do the living room in the colours of Autumn... Not really, but as it happens most of our things were Autumnal colours, we just picked a paint to blend everything together. You're looking at Forest Lake number2 (Dulux I think). I love it!

First uploads from a stay in Malta, where the temperature rarely dropped below 30c...

Like a Dulux colour chart, these doors and windows in Marsaxlokk are painted in bright colours to echo the fishing boats in the harbour. I liked the fact that the blue window is different to the others, thus breaking the pattern...

In the late 19th century George Armstrong, who was editor of The Globe newspaper, created a charity to erect purpose-built shelters providing hot food and (non-alcoholic) drinks for London cabbies. He did this after once hearing that no nearby cabbies were available as they were sheltering from a blizzard in a pub.

61 shelters were erected across London between 1875 and 1914 costing around £200 each. The first being in Acacia Avenue, St John's Wood. This location being conveniently near George Armstrong's home.

All cabmen shelters are the same characteristic shed shape, due to Metropolitan Police ordering that they had to be situated on public highways and could be no bigger than a horse and cart.

Thirteen Grade 2 listed shelters remain in London, this example being just off Victoria Embankment close to Hungerford bridge.

A lighthouse I have visited many times but one that always offers up a new perspective despite being in a sea of sand.

This lighthouse was painted a few years ago by Dulux for an advert, think they should go back now and be a little embarrassed!

A couple of more urbex shots from ST Lukes church in Abercarn.

The old english sheep dog was not harmed in anyway during this shot. In fact it was a stuffed toy.

Do you remember the paint adverts?

Anna's builder's Dulux colour cards

And he can match any colour by eye (i.e. without needing a paint chip): very impressive.

A photo that I took a few years ago that I've just re-processed.

This lovely old lighthouse in North Wales had just been re-painted for a Dulux paint commercial that they filmed along the beach.

Here's the Dulux advert - the part with the lighthouse is near the end of the 30 second clip:

Saddens me when i see the condition of this Lighthouse, i hope whoever has just bought it will give it some love and attention, it was bought for £100,000 pounds so keeping an eye on its progress, if you look on you tube and type in the Dulux dog advert on talacre beach you will see this lighthouse in all its glory I achieved this image by attaching my three stop filter to get the deliberate water movement.
