The snow geese are returning. We watched groups of 20 to geese drop in and join in this group. They didn't seem to mind that we were here, though some stood up when I pointed my camera at them. To respect their rest, we walked a bit down the trail.
On one of our very few sunny days this autumn.

The internet is starting to make me more and more claustrophobic…
Why??? Well 10 years ago I could always find what I was looking for on the web, I havent used the G-search engine for years, for a lot of reasons, but when it comes to finding the content I want on the web, every year that passes, I can only reach certain pages…
Pages that redirect me to other pages that the paying mega-companies want me to visit, the only things that still seems to work is Wikipedia, internet archive and Reddit…
What is happening to our internet??? It has been commercialized to pieces, these days, the web is no longer that amazing place where you could find strange things you never knew existed, you could find a Bunny-rabbit Terminator legion or a page of a collector of any odd things…
Now you just get lured to pages that redirect you to different pages, I am exploring my ancestry and heritage and guess what a billion times In my hunt for useful sites I have been lured to pages by search engines that redirect me to either ancestry or heritage, not useful sites but the two big companies that want me to pay…
I am feeling more and more claustrophobic on the web, most things I find is what big companies want me to see….
…and also before you could search for an odd specific thing, you would get a thousand hits, if you had enough time, you could browse it through and find what you where looking for… now you get only a few hits and most direct you to the same big sharks…
Not even the different alternative search engines I use as Duckduck, qwant or startpage help me that much!!!
CLAUSTROPHOBIA!!!!
So what I do is to save up links to still helpful sites mostly run by private enthusiast…

This holiday, we wanted to do something really special.
Ducduc's Cabana collection, along with an Eames wire mesh chair make the perfect backdrop to show off our holiday spirit! We chose a rich, red fabric for our Cabana Crib and Cabana Armoire (yes, that's fabric peeking out between those slats!), and weaccessorized with our favourite ceramic pendent lights by Jim Schatz. Top it all off with some lighted trees and fun toys for a traditionally Modernist holiday window display -- for baby!

Digital Drawing
An award-winning advertising art and creative director, David earned a BFA in Communication Art and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. He began his career as a graphic designer in the Atlanta design and illustration studio, GraphicsGroup and Whistl'n Dixie.
A devoted Mac fan, David works on the Apple iPad Pro using the Procreate app creating hand drawn original signed and numbered Limited Edition prints and canvas paintings. Over the years, he has participated in numerous art shows and festivals throughout the area and has public art in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. David was the featured artist for the 2018 Boardwalk Art Show for his poster painting, “A Spot In The Universe.” The poster won Gold and Silver 2019 Awards from Hermes Creative, Graphis and MarCom. For 2020 Graphis awarded Gold for posters "DuckDuck Samuari Goose" and a Silver for "Big Man Clarence". Currently has public works in the ViBe District in Virginia Beach.
With his recent interest in clay, David has created several series of hand-built ceramic pieces. His 8"work "Ocean Rose" won a Honorable Mention Award at the Artist Gallery's 2020 August show, Less Is More.
David lives in Virginia Beach with his wife Jennifer. He is an Exhibiting Artist at the Artist Gallery in Virginia Beach.
