Statue équestre du Duc d’Orléans - Equestrian statue of the Duke of Orleans. The statue of Ferdinand Philippe, Duke of Orléans (1810-1842), son of King Louis Philippe, was created by Italian sculptor Carlo Marochetti between 1842 and 1844. Displayed initially in Algiers, the statue was returned to France in 1963. Installed at its present traffic circle location in 1981.

On June 13th & 14th, 2019, the Durham Ultimate Club's girls touring team competed at regionals in Belleville. These ladies earned a great deal of experience under superb leadership from their coaching team. Congratulations for your efforts this weekend girls!

L'Union québécoise de réhabilitation des oiseaux de proie (UQROP) est un organisme qui a pour mission d'œuvrer à la conservation des oiseaux de proie et de leurs habitats naturels. L'UQROP poursuit deux mandats:
a) mettre en place un réseau québécois de soins pour les oiseaux de proie;
b) faire connaître les oiseaux de proie au grand public.
Plus de 350 oiseaux de proie blessés sont soignés et remis en liberté chaque année.

actually tu duc isnt even really buried here. the whole thing is a false tomb. the real burial place was a secret (becuase they bury them with all their treasure. it was so secret that all 206 servents who helped move tu ducs body and treasure to the burial spot were beheaded, so they couldnt tell anyone where it was. and then no one ever found it again.
