A bad-ass looking Hamann G-Wagen in Matte Grey. It's from Abu Dhabi although it has no front plates strangely.

The Waterfall, a spectacular water feature is a key component of The Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping mall based on total area.
The Waterfall runs through the entire height of the mall, traversing all four levels, and is adorned with art sculptures of human divers made of fiberglass to create a dynamic visual spectrum that complements the rhythmic flow of water.
Burj Lake, Dubai Mall
The Dubai Fountains are a choreographed fountain system located on the 12 hectare (30 acre) artificial Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was designed by WET Design, a California-based company also responsible for the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas. Illuminated by 6,600 lights and 25 colored projectors, it is 275 m (902 ft) long and shoots water up to 500 ft (152.4 m) into the air accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music.
Late day view from the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa looking down at the Souk Al Bahar and the Old Town Island (centre) the Dubai Mall (left) and the Dubai Fountain and pool (bottom) Old Town Island, Dubai, UAE. I was hoping to see the lights and choreography of the city and the Dubai Fountain at night from above.

On my travels again and this time in Dubai to visit the University Campus. A nice colourful picture of the Burj Khalifa for the evening night out.
"Last Word"
www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7DwLdO_HbQ&index=11&list...
The storm rises from the deep
And rages around me
But I will remember
When doubt wars within my heart
The battle almost lost
I will remember
You have the last word
It is finished
You have the last word
It is finished
My fear is silenced in Your love
My hope is endless
Your voice that calmed the violent sea
Speaks courage over me
So I will remember
The words that wake the sun to rise
Are breaking through my night
And I will remember
You have the last word
It is finished
You have the last word
It is finished
My fear is silenced in Your love
My hope is endless
Your word stands through the ages
Your voice shatters the darkness
In You we are more than conquerors
You speak and strongholds surrender
Your name overcomes the enemy
In You we are more than conquerors
[x2]
You have the last word
It is finished
You have the last word
It is finished
My fear is silenced in Your love
My hope is endless
Your word stands through the ages
Your voice shatters the darkness
In You we are more than conquerors
You speak and strongholds surrender
Your name overcomes the enemy
In You we are more than conquerors

The Burj Kalifa, the world's tallest building at 2,722 feet, dwarfs the surrounding skyscrapers. It casts a long shadow on the Dubai Shopping Mall that I photographed from the observation deck on the 148th floor (1,821 feet) at Dubai, UAE. The turquoise pool at the bottom contains the Dubai Fountain, the world's second largest choreographed fountain. The shadow crosses the black front of a small building at its top, giving the appearance of a giant cross.

The Dubai mall is one of the largest in the world and it has a wonderful huge aquarium. I was fascinated with the photo possibilities of the aquarium with the direct views through the glass, the see throughs to the spectators on the other side and the reflections of the shops behind me. Dubai, UAE.

For my video; youtu.be/0aHD5PriNdE,
The Dubai Mall is a shopping mall in Dubai. It is the second largest mall in the world after the Iran Mall by total land area, and the 26th-largest shopping mall in the world by gross leasable area, tying with West Edmonton Mall and Fashion Island (Bangkok)—both of which are older than it. It has a total retail floor area of 502,000 square metres (5,400,000 sq ft). Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the 20-billion-dollar Downtown complex (called Downtown Dubai) adjacent to the iconic Burj Khalifa, and includes over 1,200 shops. In 2011, it was the most visited building on the planet, attracting over 54 million visitors each year
The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo was designed by Peddle Thorp and is managed by Emaar Entertainment. The aquarium, located in The Dubai Mall, showcases more than 300 species of marine animals, including sharks and rays.

On silence
[The demon Screwtape writes:] Music and silence—how I detest them both! How thankful we should be that ever since our Father entered Hell—though longer ago than humans, reckoning in light years, could express—no square inch of infernal space and no moment of infernal time has been surrendered to either of those abominable forces, but all has been occupied by Noise— Noise, the grand dynamism, the audible expression of all that is exultant, ruthless, and virile—Noise which alone defends us from silly qualms, despairing scruples, and impossible desires. We will make the whole universe a noise in the end. We have already made great strides in this direction as regards the Earth. The melodies and silences of Heaven will be shouted down in the end. But I admit we are not yet loud enough, or anything like it.
From The Screwtape Letters. CS Lewis

May we listen and hear [and obey] the still small voice that speaks below all that Noise, this new year.
