Back when I was teaching in the late 90s,I had a Mac G3 with a matching monitor www.mrmartinweb.com/images/computer/macg3bluemonitor.jpg that sat on my desk. One of my students appeared on day with this clock which so closely resembled the monitor. They sat on my desk together at work. Here it is on my latest Mac - a MacBook Pro.

Ah, the assignment perfect for my new 10-20mm lens! And another chance to do a fun photo with a toy car (find the toy in the photo!)
So yeah, my Aston Martin toy James Bond car might be able to give some action lessons to my Mitsibushi Lancer (which lacks a sunroof as well as the passenger eject seat!)

Daily Shoot - 2010/01/14: Play with contrasting scale today: juxtapose something small with something big!
Small fish huts on the ice in the harbour look even smaller with the Collingwood Terminals looming in the background.
I used today's challenge to try an HDR photo. I used Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB) on my camera to take 3 shots with +2/0/-2 exposure settings and then combined them in Photomatix Pro. I'm not ecstatic about the results. I need to experiment more with HDR.
