As soon as I read this assignment, I had a vision in my head that I had to try to get out. I must say I am pretty happy with the results. This was achieved by the help of my son, ziplock baggy protecting my flash with a green gel, and waiting for the hot water to give me the steam I was looking for.

so I feel like a bit of a cheater, since I actually took this photo last month, but I'll justify it on the grounds that I hadn't yet processed and uploaded it, and because I couldn't think of anything to photograph that would be as good of a fit for the theme =)

I seem to have to change these light bulbs way more often than the packaging says. At least they use less electricity.

Looking to step outside the box and then inspired by DeForestRanger's picture, I remembered my rabbit Timmy's love for corn chips and how he'll reach and stretch as far as possible to get one. All we have to do is rustle the bag and he and another of our rabbits, Lyla, will come running. Kind of like Pavlov's dogs and the bell.

We're so pleased to have our new netbooks and WiFi at school. It's truly amazing how the in-classroom access changes what we can do and how we do it.
We're still ironing out some of the glitches (all technology HAS to have a few bugs in it, just to be ironed out), and so we weren't always reaching the server at all times today. But things are working more than than not, and we're upbeat and positive about these new resources.
