Had fun with lights today. The whole thing is perhaps just a tad underexposed, but it still works IMO. Maybe up half a stop on the key would be better...

I bought this bottle a few weeks ago at the Bouckville antique show. When I was growing up my dad worked for Borden''s delivering ice cream to stores in our area. Ever since I was young I've liked the Elsie logo so I decided to pick up this small bottle. Next summer I'll use it as a vase

This is an insanely fabulous white wine - very unique taste, like no other white I've ever tasted. Perhaps it's actually an acquired tasting experience?

Well... backlit with my Speedlite 430 to create that fire within! Developed further in Lightroom to increase contrast and eliminating the background.

For all you Daily Shooters: Would it be an idea to post both the original and the "Developed" image on Flickr?

Deliberate *soft* focus - Too much beer makes you unable to focus correctly! Not sure about the Bokeh - I think it falls into the category of "Bad Bokeh" 50mm@f/2.8

I now have a digital microscope to play with. The Motic DigiScope DS-300. A USB powered cam on top of a small, microscope with LED lighting & glass lenses. It hasn't been the easiest set up as the camera realy doesn't like to work with Mac OS X even though I have the camera that says it does. So I fired up my G3 iMac that can run OS 9 to get these shots.

A series of Sydney's umbilical cord stump. Feel free to be grossed out but having a baby is not all cute smiles & such. I'll post more cute Sydney photos soon...

Some Spanish sun into the kitchen, and delicious flavour into cooking with this olive oil spiced with chilies and peppers. I love the bottle, so I keep refilling it from ordinary oil bottles.
