Monday Morning Funny #30 - because Monday Mornings are NOT funny...
and they still haven't come home yet... LOL
I decided to have a luau themed Mother's Day (don't ask why.. I have no clue.. just making things more fun maybe?).
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day... not feeling that well this morning (hoping it's nothing I ate because I made all the food... ROFLMAO).
I'll be back later.. I'm still going to attempt to work!
HAPPY MONDAY!!!!
Monday Morning Funny #45 - Because Monday Mornings are NOT Funny
Don't ever give 6ft drunkey monkies a ride home...he drank WAY too much and then Floozy Flamingo took off with a guy from accounting... LOL
I actually bought this for a luau bbq we had at work... it's a running joke at work. You should have seen the looks I got driving TO work during the day. I HAD to put him in the front seat because I had no windows in the back of my Jeep and he would have flown out!!! HAHAHAHA
Usually I work at home on Mondays but because my client has a holiday I am going into the office... BLAH!!!!!!!!!! For some reason I couldn't sleep... I better not miss my stop on the way home cuz I fall asleep on the train!!! (I've done this twice now... lol).
Hope you all have a fantastic Monday!!!!!
I accidentally left the lens on manual focus... but a little bit of sharpening has saved this one to some extent.
This is from the 17th floor of the Bishopsgate Tower, the British Land Development at the northern end of Bishopsgate.

Known to some as Drunken Monkey, this man has appalling taste in metal music. But he does know his drink.
You might think we hang out at Heavy Metal concerts, use foul language and drink obscene amounts of cheap lager.
We do.

chanhi was a permapuppy..
she had the fattest paws and the brightest eyes. she was little and her skin was thick, mushy and soft, i loved to just press my face into her squishy forehead.. she was soo warm and sweet and cute.
i always called her 'brighteyes', and i called her a 'drunken monkey' all the time, because when i tried to move her she became a dead weight. she got so relaxed so it was sort of easy to move her, but she got really heavy, so it was a little difficult. also her eyes reminded me a lot of a monkey, like a chimp. and she was never fixed so she had to wear diapers when she went in heat which made her look even more like a baby chimp.
and i called her a 'wise wizard' a lot, because of her white nose. it wasn't as white when she was younger and it grew whiter as she aged (not that she ever got old). also she was nice and daydreamed a lot so i thought she was wise.
oh ya, i used to always call her a 'little acrobat', 'break~dancer' and 'bucking bronco' because she did cartwheels, and things of that nature when she was excited!

See the original Drunken Monkey photo in this set. The original Drunken Monkey burned down, but on our recent trip down Route 61, we saw it had relocated (a few blocks up the street). And everyone will be happy to know that this new incarnation has a wheelchair ramp.
A friend and I visited the Thalankuppam Pier at Ennore, Chennai. This pier area is famous due to its location being used for many movie scenes. These set of photos were taken over a span of 4 hours at the Pier and the areas around it. If you want to go there, please keep in mind that you need to walk a lot to the pier and its not a clean place.

A branded outlet for this global craft beer chain, with its own brewing kit. It can be a bit noisy at peak times, but it's not too bad. It has since been renamed as The Queen's Head under Urban Pubs & Bars ownership. (Olders photos of it as Drunken Monkey from 2012 and from 2008.)
