I want to a another "drum circle" last night. What a scene! There had to be about 350-400 people that showed up at 10pm to dance, chant, smoke pot and drink to the full moon. I like the fire dancing! View On Black
This is my bestie, Darlene's niece.
She is a gift and so wonderfully intune with people of all class or gender.
She is a real breath of fresh air.
Let's hope more like her help make the future brighter for the coming generations.

We found out there is a lot of snow in the big tree up above the drum circle. This creates a dangerous situation for the tree is very high and if the snow falls on the people down below......
So we decided to bring in the hatchie catapult and some hatchies and shoot them at the snow. No hatchies were harmed during the proceedings (rather, they had big fun and ate waffles :-)

I love this park because they have wonderful trees, and a great riverwalk from which to watch the sunset. The bonus is the drum circle which I believe gathers every Sunday. This one was much larger, more drums, than others I've had the pleasure to experience. I'm crazy about drums, and love hearing them bid farewell to the sun!

Percussionists gather from 5:30 to 7:30. I don't know the history, how the Circle started; but, it felt as if they were bidding adieu to the sun as it set. This was the first time I'd seen/heard them (my 1st time at that park).
I've since gone back (this past weekend) and it was just as enjoyable.
