Okay, really just dripping, but this wood duck drake had some water dripping out...

My first Moose encounter of 2021!

This pair was on the pond the other day, and were obviously a couple!

The other morning, in my backyard.

HBW :)~

We watched this red-breasted sapsucker go get food, then bring it back to the youngster in the tree. I took some shots, and only after looking at them on the computer did I see that, on more than one occasion, there was a line of drool after the parent gave the food. Feeding babies is a messy job!!!

A stunning ‘63 Chevy convertible spotted a couple of blocks over from our house. She is gorgeous.

Lula visited the farm again on a walk today, and I couldn't resist another shot. I had my zoom on, so I took this from about 15 feet away. I was holding a treat in my left hand, and she salivated in anticipation.

One of my hummers on Salvia today. You gotta love the dripping pollen.

A pair yearling Alaskan brown bear cubs drool water from their mouths as they stand in a stream and get a drink of fresh water. They are reflected in the water and beautifully framed by water ripples. Silver Salmon Creek, Alaska, Pacific Northwest. (best larger)

A peripheral bull drooling from testosterone build up. One of the most photogenic bulls with interesting behavior I saw this past fall, but could not get together with him often enough for long enough! All rights reserved.

Just passing by on the river

No sign of any moose in Campbell Park MK, although the damp and misty conditions somehow seemed appropriate. Seeing this canal boat reminded me of holidays in Canada and Alaska, where Moose Drool is a well known name for beer and sweets - and despite the off putting name very tasty they are too!

Mmm... duckweed.
