This aerial image captures one of Earth’s most dramatic natural boundaries — the spot where the ancient golden dunes of the Namib Desert fall into the rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Located along Namibia’s Skeleton Coast, this surreal landscape embodies raw beauty, stark contrast, and the eternal dance between desert silence and ocean roar.

Loch Chon is a small loch situated between Kinlochard and Inversnaid just up from Loch Ard. I had the place to myself this morning and while the weather didn’t play ball (surprise!) it was still a stunning place to visit.

O município de Petrolândia, no Sertão de Pernambuco, foi inundada para a construção da Usina Hidrelétrica Luiz Gonzaga.

Um dos principais pontos turísticos de Petrolândia é a igreja submersa do Sagrado Coração. O prédio ficou submerso por 26 anos, quando a "velha Petrolândia" foi inundada para a construção da Usina Hidrelétrica Luiz Gonzaga. Em 2014 a igreja voltou a aparecer por entre as águas do Rio São Francisco
