This was the great storm of Dec, 2019 that crossed the United States. Taken in New England, Dunkin' is a staple of northeastern coffee on the go addicts. Driving directions are sometimes given by citing the number of Dunkin' outlets you have to pass before your next turn.

I love when you're riding along with a fellow photographer and you both see the same thing at the same time and have to turn around to go back for the capture. This is what happened here. We were passing through a small village this past Sunday when we saw this Kitty waiting patiently for the restaurant to open. Obviously he knew the importance of being first in line at the drive through! According to the signs he had about a 20 minute wait but since our arrival bothered him not a bit, I'm pretty sure he was confident of being rewarded for his patience.
This is the Nannau Gatehouse, Coed y Moch. This house/building is on the way to the Precipise Walk and part of the Nannau Estate near Dolgellau. Really interesting and nice piece of architecture.
Wish you a warm day... This Burger King restaurant is one of many in Grenoble, France... Even though I haven’t touched any in a long, long time, the fries they serve in this location are distinct...
“The Color Of Christmas” at Water World in Westminster, CO. They had cool Christmas music you could tune in to on the radio and the lights were coordinated.

The glaciers of the national park are of scientific importance, as they now mark the retreat of a smaller ice age 4000 years ago.
When Captain George Vancouver explored the region in 1794, the bay was almost completely filled with ice from the glaciers. Several kilometers wide, over 1000 m high.
A very Canadian thing for sure. Tim Hortons. Every morning they are just lined up at these take out windows.
Where I live, is 10,000 people approx. We have three of these stores.

The West Usambara Mountains range in altitude from 800 m to 2440 m and run from southeast to northwest. Most of the West Usambara Mountains are located in Lushoto District. The district capital is Lushoto (German "Wilhelmstal"),
The bright lights and colours of this newly built Sibylla drive-through caught my attention as I drove by. I saw my chance to practise shooting with long exposure since I've struggled a bit to get it right with this kind of lights. I had to climb atop a dirt noise barrier to get the shot from this angle (which was the one that caught my eye from the road!).

Whether a driving rain, or snowstorm, there are certain priorities.............! Taken at the drive-through during today's snowstorm.
Agnes: Alright, we’re at the drive thru. Everyone needs to stop talking so they can hear our order.
Eva and Bruno: Tacos! Tacos! Tacos!
Agnes: That is not helpful.
Bruno: Sorry. Many Tacos! Many tacos!
Eva: Sounds good. Many tacos for me too.
Agnes: The next person who shouts tacos won’t get any. The Taco Bell guy can’t hear me over all of your yappering.
Bruno: Got it.
Eva: Got it. I will no longer shout the food that shall not be named.
Agnes: Thank you. Now I’m going to order.
Bruno: Oh, Oh, Oh! Don’t forget the curly fries!
Agnes: Dude, we’re at Taco Bell not Arbys.
Bruno: I know that. But TinyPuppy likes me enough to run across the street and get me my curly fries.
Agnes: For the last time – just because we’re at Taco Bell does not mean that the taco bell Chihuahua is working the drive thru. And even if he was, he wouldn’t want to hook you up with curly fries!

This morning I woke up at 5:30 am to take the dogs to the Taco Bell drive through for a small photo session. I'm moderately confident that taking your dogs fo photos at the drive through is a perfectly normal behaviour.
I had more flattering pictures of Aggie, but this is her worried face when she is a bit uncertain about what's happening yet still trying to please. It is such a part of her that I decided it needed to be part of her project. Plus at the drive through it reminded me of a Mom face when trying to negotiate with children. Hence the dogversation.
Tried a handheld snap of the burger joint on the way to the train station this evening. Not somewhere I'd want to eat myself, but I find it interesting that such mundane, everyday places like a fast food diner can look far more interesting at night.
Late night drive through - but it's a beautiful night and I'm in a pretty fine awesome mood :)
Little lens flare bonus too!
The former Star-Lite drive-in movie theater in Tacoma, Washington on South Tacoma Way (Highway 99). The Theater opened May 26, 1948 showing "Golden Earrings" with Ray Milland and Marlene Deitrich and "Adventure Island" with Rory Calhoun and Rhonda Fleming. It closed as a drive-in theater in 1996. The property is now used as a swap meet.

ANSH128 #5 "Drive in"
True drive-ins here are a vanishing breed, and I don't know of one nearby. Next best are drive-throughs, where you place your order through a mic/speaker next to a menu board, then drive up to the window in the building (hidden in this shot). This drive through is for a Popeye's Louisianna Kitchen, a fried chicken place similar to KFC but 1024 times better. The chain was started in New Orleans, and has since spread widely. And no, I have no idea why it is called "Popeye's", but the Louisianna part is evidenced by their spicy version of fried chicken and Cajun inspired sides.
