Happy Thursday everyone!
Back in the days, I used to fit comfortably in the back of an Integra. I remember maybe 6 years ago, when all my friends were smaller than they are now, we used to squeeze three people back there and we used to cruise everywhere. Nowadays, if I try this shot again, I probably won't be able to get my camera up because my stomach will be sticking out too much haha.
The reason why I thought of this shot is because Vince, Colin and I talked a great deal about this car last night. Turns out I'm not the only one facing car problems as us three are. Damn these cars.

SMASHfestUK 2018: FLOOD! returned to its home community - Deptford – for a glorious, 5-day FREE festival from 12th-16th February 2018. An enormous mash-up of immersive experiences, comedy, experiments, games, art, music, den-building, storytelling and much, much more for all ages, it was the biggest festival yet, with audiences up by over 30% on 2107.
Here are pictures from the Albany Theatre Upstairs installation and activities. Check out the full line-up at: smashfestuk.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/2018FLOODPROG.pdf
This year - Deptford was at risk of a big FLOOD! Climate change had driven a huge storm surge frown the North Sea. What would happen if the Thames burst its banks and Deptford became submerged? How would we survive? How could we escape? If Deptford turned into wetlands - what would we live in? What food would we live on? And if we got into seriously deep water and the whole Earth was under threat - could we find another home somewhere living in space?
This year’s activities included interactive science sand-pits, games, demonstrations and experiments, a sensory room, virtual reality space tours, a murder-mystery court case, a game of infective detectives, den-building, variety performances, opportunities to “meet the mosquitoes”, build your own hologram, our inspiring, family-friendly play, Cosmic Jives and much much more.
Last year, SMASHfestUK 2017: SUPERVOLCANO was a huge success, entertaining nearly 2000 people over the course of the half-term holiday. Back for 2018, we were even bigger and better than before!
SMASHfestUK is a STEM/Arts (STEAM) organization, festival series & movement founded in 2015 with the aim of widening participation & increasing diversity (gender, ethnic & socio-economic) in STEM & the Arts education and professions, & increasing social inclusion in undeserved communities, underrepresented groups, in neglected areas. SMASHfestUK couldn’t do what we do - FOR FREE! - without the amazing support of our visionary partners and funders. Around SMASHfestUK we’ve created a new way of bringing together funders, universities, community groups, schools, industry and cultural institutions and connecting them meaningfully with neglected communities. We’ve been touring the UK through 2017 with our SOMUCH/Earth and Sky Tour, building new collaborations and creating positive impact - building STEM and Cultural Capital (STEAM Capital) with underserved groups and underrepresented people, in areas with multiple indicators of poverty. WE THANK YOU ALL! AND HOPE YOU”LL CONTINUE WITH US ON OUR JOURNEY - FIGHTING FOR SOCIAL INCLUSION AND EQUITABLE OPPORTUNIES FOR ALL in STEM and the Arts.

Driven by a middle aged man, the car even has the 'AA' stickers and alarm stickers people were putting on their cars through the 80's and 90's. I think it suits older cars.

If there is one thing about the health system that is similar to education system it is the need to collect data from its clients. Vital signs are important ... they have to be there ... and tracking, scoring, averaging, seeing variances, time of day, activity level ... well, you get the picture (no pun intended).
The machine didn't record my temperature, but for the curios among you it was 36.8 - celsius of course.
