Also known as the Torx drive. These are various sizes of torx drives from T15 up to T40. Shot for Macro Mondays "Stars" theme.
Thanks for viewing and happy Macro Monday!
A lone fishing vessel returning through the straits at Oban.
Many thanks as always for your welcome views and comments.
After having success with a dusk shot in Potterville, the lights were quickly packed and I hopped back on the highway and raced up to Durand for another shot of the first run across the GTW of the at the time, still clean EJ&E heritage unit. The train would fly through Durand and then stop to work Flint, giving me enough time to gather the lights and drive fast ahead of it again.
As Briton and I were going from one place to another, we spotted this beauty way up in a big tree. Briton swings around and I got out and shot it. Best kind of Drive by shooting I like to hear about. Cooper's Hawk Plymouth Meeting Pa.

Suprematism is an early twentieth-century art movement focused on the fundamentals of geometry (circles, squares, rectangles, triangles). The term refers to a form of abstract art based on the supremacy of pure artistic expression rather than on a visual or literal depiction of objects. It is entirely subjective and gives room for the artist to present what they think or perceive versus what they may see.

Nice, secluded beach somewhere between Ft. Bragg and Mendocino, California.
Started off cloudy, but as I made my way down the coast and the day went on, it started clearing into a bright sunny day.
I love the coast above San Francisco. As beautiful as Big Sur, but without all the tourists.
Another shot from yesterday morning. I think it always pays to look around when taking either sunrise or sunset photos... this is to the left of the actual sunrise. I think I'd like to go up at least once more before the season comes to a complete end. Today it's pouring down rain and Anita has family affairs to attend so I think it may be good day for "indoor projects" of which I have many! LOL I hope you all enjoy a perfectly wonderful rest of the weekend!

Every year our fire department and food bank drive past every house in town to collect canned food.
Last year for some reason, they drove by so fast we couldn't get outside to give them food. This year, they stopped out front and passed food to a food bank van. The Grand-kids loved it!
I was talking to a volunteer and he said they thought this would be the last year the old firetruck would go out. They just can't find parts to keep it running.
As a kid, the Fire Department would come to our school in this very truck and take all the students on a field trip to the fire station. That was 53yrs ago for me.. Happy we got to see it running another year.

Thank you my friends for your kind comments, faves, and well wishes during my absence. I seem to be on the road back to good health, and once again feel safely able to wander the wilds with my camera in this remote place.
The cold weather has only just arrived so there has not been fog or much fall color to inspire. Mostly, I have been photographing fallen logs for reference! It has rained a lot, which means there will be a good spring wildflower showing.
Except for a little doorway remodeling and installation of better lighting I will be ready to begin my adventure as a faux bois artist in 2017!
