Drips on high level bridge at sunrise

Shot on Agfa VistaPlus ISO 200 with a Smena Symbol, 7 August 2017

We both had fun trying to catch a drip in a pond at one of the campsites we stayed at last year...can’t remember who got this one...

Experimenting with drips..

The slow drip keeps the wood wet until it rots, then the rotten wet wood is a good place for moss to grow. Then a deep freeze puts everything on hold.

For 120 pictures in 2020 # 107 "Things that fall", these are water drops forming on a pergola rafter during a light rain. Most eventually did fall, although new ones immediately started forming.

I spent Saturday evening trying another go at water drops with a different spin. For some reason I was really struggling with the timing, however, I got this one about right, I think.

All my kitchen project photos are in this album:-

I have yet to really experiment with water drop photography. It's quite challenging, especially if you are trying to do on the cheap side and don't have an assistant. Still, it was quite fun! I'd love to play around when I have some time. Just wish I had a Macro lens.

Thanks for visiting!

Drip

My first time trying to get a reflection in a drip, I originally wanted to get a flower in the drip but just couldn't set it up, I then decided to use some of the background papers I have used for other projects, great fun when it finally worked.

A blade from a plant was held in place with two little clamps and I used a speedlight at about 45deg to the front. My son made the drips with a pipette (he had was steadier and had more patience than me :) ) I suspect something else is usually added to plain water I made need to do some research.

Catching this droplet on a tiny rose leaf was so important, but only for a moment.

BIG THANKS for taking a peek at my last upload of the piano keys. A fave of mine and glad it was enjoyed.

Happy Weekend goes out to my Flickr Friends and I hope everyone gets whatever they want out of it. If it's not enough time, we should all band together and demand half the hours and double the pay. (do I have your support?)
