While roaming Blackrock Beach just after sunrise, I came across this troupe of Periwinkle Snails cozily clustered on one of the driftwood trees. They were a bit of a challenge to photograph as they were constantly moving, but I was lucky to get a few photos of them sitting fairly still.

Paula and I had a great time camping at Sleeping Bear Dunes in the Northwest corner of Michigan's Lower Penninsula. We were camping right on Lake Michigan!
