With the amount of wind there is on Abraham Lake, you are bound to find the odd snow drift here and there....I love snow drifts. The shapes are just gorgeous.

It was high humidity during my visit to Lake Kawaguchi this time. Thus the clouds covered Mt. Fuji during the sunrise time. I used ND1000 filter to get the long exposure of drifting clouds.
這次去河口湖，事先已經知道水氣旺盛，所以先找好較高的攝點，指望出個雲海大景。
第一天日出時，雲太高，遮住富士山。後來富士山漸漸露出頭，就搬出ND1000拍攝流雲，還蠻喜歡這效果的。

With the recent heavy snow, the plow trucks had to put the snow somewhere, and when they would clear a road, the piles on the tracks were pretty nice and gave a couple opportunities for busting shots. Just after being plowed and with a short train, Z149 was moving plenty quick to create a nice pop when they came through west of Swartz Creek.

Castle class No. 7029 "Clun Castle" pictured at Barton-under-Needwood hauling the first of two Christmas white rose excursions, from Dorridge-York and return. The exhaust drifting over the train was a bit of a pain, but always great to see the Castle in fine voice.
