Waddesdon Manor, Oxfordshire.
Visit to Waddesdon Manor (HP18 0JH) in September 2015. Usual National Trust stately home but with some problems for the photographer. Inside light very low (to protect furnishings etc.) and often very yellow. Lot of work to get some reasonable shots to put here.
Nice grounds and worth a visit. Exotic bird aviary, modern sculptures and older statutes to look at. Good cafe and restaurant but can get very crowded.
Shooting photographs through black wire mesh is never easy.
Would recommend.

Another view from another angle in my bedroom. Notice the wall clock from 1934 in Shanghai, so as the British colonial fan made in Britain by Rellim. King George's 1938 calendar is there hanging on the wall, alongside with some pictures of my family from the yesteryears.

A set of four rare 60s vintage Ercol Fleur de Lys dining chairs up for grabs. Each backrest features three individually hand-carved Fleur de Lys patterned panels while the seat has been restored with a rich dark wood finish.

1987 Meritus Industries Barbie vanity with working lights, in the closed position. Have since found the little photo frame, hairdryer, brush and nail polish that goes with this set, but am missing the seat.
A solid timber Nathan book shelf and room divider. Aesthetically pleasing and stylish, this design is timeless.
Oak Chinese chairs with Oriental carvings on the back and cane webbing seats. Repainted in purple and white.
