There's a reason why so many cat owners (or, I should say, the cat-owned) have so many cat photos. The little attention hogs love to get in the frame. There I was, after 11pm, realising that I hate all the photos I've taken today and I only have another few minutes to get a better pic for today. So I decide against the easy cat pic, and start trying to get an interesting shot of my messy dressing table. A few shots in, who jumps onto my table but Pan, who proceeds to dominate the whole shoot until I lie down on the floor to get a better angle, when he jumps down off the dressing table and onto my tummy and brings the shoot to a close by purring and nosing the lens. Right now he's sitting on my lap, purring and nosing my elbow as I try to upload the pic :-) Yes, this isn't a great pic either, but it will do. I'm happy to have it represent my day.

Jack is doing well today! I skyped with my mother and their hotel in Lake Louise looks utterly idyllic. I do love the Rockies.
