The side mirrors folded in.

After the detour to Chesters Roman Fort this was the final destination.

It was a wonderfully quiet room with a fantastic view down the garden. Evening food option here wasn't quite so convenient as you have to venture out of the guest house for that, but there are plenty of places to choose from!

The only mark I could find that might show some kind of providence.

I had a little new-year's rearrange, giving the bookcase in the bedroom more of a dressing table feel with hairclips and perfume bottles.

A discussion at work today was about perfumes and aftershave. I work in a team of all males, and the majority of them (and the guys I surveyed via Twitter - thanks for all the responses!) have about five aftershaves on a rotation. The girls that responded via Twitter seemed to have about the same amount as me, which made me feel better!

(Of course, that doesn't include the smelly guy who barely showers. Choice quote of the day from him - "I don't smell, I Febreezed my underpants this morning". Sadly I don't think he was kidding)

Here is my collection of perfumes, including my mums last bottle of Chanel No. 5 (I can't smell it without remembering watching her get ready to go out when I was younger), the giant bottle of Marc Jacobs (its almost half a freaking litre!) and the random little bottles everyone seems to accumulate

We visited Winterthur for the holiday exhibits, Yuletide at Winterthur, on December 28, 2011. We recommend visits to the Henry Francis du Pont home, museum and gardens at any time of the year. The location is in Wilmington, Delaware.
