66428 heads north at Wandel with a very late-running 4S43 06:16 Daventry to Mossend Tesco train. 18/6/2014. It had got caught up in two farces before it got to us: the first when the Class 92 hauling it from Daventry failed at Crewe and the second when it got stuck behind the failed 6S94 Dollands Moor to Irvine at Beattock. 18/6/2014.

169 years after Dred and Harriet Scott began the struggle for justice that resulted in the end of slavery in America, Bloodstained Men stand at the Dred Scott memorial demanding the right to bodily integrity for all Americans.
Wow what a day, Today we went to the Old Courthouse which is where the Dred Scott case occured and then we went to the base of the arch. We couldn't go up because of construction but it was still pretty cool! From there we went to a mansion on the St. Louis Univcersity campus that was super cool. It had 40+ rooms and some of them were painted green and awesome. We then went to Imo's pizza to try there local favorite Provel cheese pizza which is a combination of swiss, cheddar, and provolone, it was different but not terrible. We didn't want to fill up there though so we went to Crazy bowl where I got chicken and veggies over noodles and that was good! From there we went on the Anneheiser Busch brewery tour and that was awesome. We got to see the clydesdales! and the brewery is HUGE! Way bigger than anything me and Tim have been on yet. It kinda felt like I was cheating on Tim by going on this tour without him ;) After that we went to Pappy's for bbq (a recommendation from Tyler Laabs). They had signed menus from former patrons and one said patron was Hugh Jackman. So that was pretty awesome to eat in the same place as my favorite actor. The food was amazing and really well priced! We got ribs, pulled pork, and a loaded baked potato! After that we went to see Deadpool which was awesome and funny and great. After that we went to a Chocolate Bar where I got an amazing brownie! It was quite the day!
Here is the new and improved Drak Pack both in human and monster forms! I was able to modify and align Gil and Hairiet along with the rest of the Drak Pack using a neat little website called: pixlr.com/.
It really comes in handy for me. It also helped make Nightstreak a reality! Also, I finally have all the season 2 DP episode ideas up! Bad news is: There's only a total of 12 episodes! But I think it's still good enough for fans! Here's my list:
1.The New Recruits. Dr. Dred recruits Phantomatic on his team of ne'er-do-wells to help them on dealing with the Drak Pack. Meanwhile, Big D tells the Drak Pack that they'll be getting some help whether they want it or not!...
2.Away Go Troubles Down the Drain. Many a cruise ship, ocean liner and boat are mysteriously sinking down into the sea! This looks like a job for Gil Lagoon! (As well as the rest of the Drak Pack!)
3.Love 'em and Leave 'em. Phantomatic and Vampira kidnap one person from each of many happy couples causing the ones left to cry in agony for the one true loves they pine for. To rescue the others who are held hostage, Drak and Hairiet pose as a happy couple so that at least one of them can get to where the unhappy loves are being held!
4.A Traitor in the Drak Pack. Dr. Dred has a robot that looks like Howler frame the real Howler for helping O.G.R.E. and betraying the Drak Pack so as to get them to turn on Howler and defeat the remaing four once and for all!
5.Imposters r' us. Dr. Dred uses some magic molding clay to make an army of evil Drak Packs to discredit the real Drak Pack!
6.The Drak Pack No More?. Dr. Dred has Fly sprinkle on the Drak Pack a special kind of pollen that prevents Drak, Frankie and Howler from Drak Whacking again. Being the last two who can still Drak Whack, Can Gil and Hairiet help the team to save the day or will they be next on early retirement?
7.An Evil Eye for an Eye. Dr Dred and Phantomatic terrorize the people with the lost & found Evil Eye artifact that can paralize anyone who sees it open up! And the Drak Pack are no exception!
8.The Monster on the Moon. When the rumors of a monster living on the Earth's Moon are confirmed, The Drak Pack & O.G.R.E. race to the Moon and get that peaceful monster (Really an alien) on their side!
9.Being in Three Places at Once. Dr Dred uses a duplication spell on himself to commit 3 crimes for the price of 1! In order to best the three Dreds, The Drak Pack will need to split up and foil the baddies from stealing valuables 3 times in 1 day!
10.Are we there Yeti? When word spreads of Dr Dred and O.G.R.E. planning to make Big D's old friend the Abominable Snowman do evil deeds, it's up to the Drak Pack to get to the Himalayas and stop Dred before it's too late! (One String: I really want Snow Leopards in that episode!)
11.One Big Ness. Dr Dred and company plan to capture the Loch Ness Monster and make him the star attraction of their zoo! But not if the Drak Pack has anything to say about it!
12.Monster vs Monster. (Closest thing to a series finale.) It's the Monster Tournament today that only comes once every 300 years and Big D and Dr Dred are entering the Drak Pack & O.G.R.E. on this Tournament! Can the Drak Pack go for the gold or will O.G.R.E.'s cheating give them the big win?
Only one more piece of art to go! Tomorrow!

Some photos of my solo show at Centrefold Gallery on the 19th September. A bit crap, joiner and photos from the private view to follow.
And may I offer a piece of advice to any other flickr artists; do not under any circumstances attempt to paint on the ceiling unless you have a proper Michaelangelo-style scaffold. It hurts.
The Jefferson Memorial Gateway Expansion Arch is an icon recognized around the world as an aspect of St. Louis.
The arch celebrates the starting point for the Lewis and Clark Expedition as commissioned by then President Thomas Jefferson to find a waterway passage to the west coast and California.
The historic courthouse as viewed from the rear, is where the landmark Dred Scott case was started (before eventually ending up in the Supreme Court where he lost). The decision handed down is considered by many historians as one of the primary events to precipitate the Civil War.

Roger B. Taney is a 19th-century bronze statue of Chief Justice of the United States Roger B. Taney (1777–1864), by William Henry Rinehart. It was located in Baltimore (MD) at the North Garden in Mount Vernon Place prior to being removed by the city of Baltimore in 2017.
The sculpture was a gift to the City of Baltimore from the businessman and art collector William T. Walters, whose home faced Mount Vernon Place.
It is a recast of the Roger B. Taney Monument at Annapolis (MD). The sculpture was unveiled to the public in 1887.
Amid controversy about the presence of a statue honoring the author of the infamous Dred Scott decision, the sculpture was removed by the City of Baltimore in 2017 and put into storage.

The Polamalu mecha has boosters built in for extra bursts of speed. I can't explain how the actual man is able to run full-tilt for 60 minutes. I think he might be a cyborg.

Dark Entries has tapped into their Gothic roots to unearth a 29-year old lost album now available for the first time on vinyl. 'Years Of Struggle Against The Lies, The Stupidity And The Cowardice’ was written, recorded and produced by a trio of Danish 18-year olds during a weekend in December 1981. Unable to pay for the recording session, the master tapes were confiscated and the album remained unreleased until the summer of 1985 where it was issued as a bonus cassette with the Danish art magazine Atlas.
This is the first and only album from Pesteg Dred, a trio from Denmark made up of Martin Hall (Ballet Mécanique, Under For, Before), Per Hendrichsen (Dialogue, Uté-Va) and vocalist Inge Shannon, who later starred in Hall’s project SS-Say. The band combines dark rumbling basslines with austere guitar shrieks and the occasional cello/violin/autoharp to create the perfect tension of soft/loud synthesized post punk. But what steals the spotlight of Martin Hall's well-crafted production are the dynamic vocals of Inge Shannon who ranges from cold Teutonic monotone to shrill cacophony at times bringing to mind Nico, new romantic chanteuse Ronny or Simona Buja from Kirlian Camera. This landmark album could have fit perfectly on the 4AD or Factory records roster alongside A Certain Ratio, Bauhaus or Joy Division.
All tracks have been remastered from the original master tapes by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA and include a printed interview with Martin Hall as well as a silk-screened image of the original reel to reel master tape. Limited to 500 hand-numbered copies so grab one while you can.
