SF: No really. Blizzard. Isn't it so Gogo! *Ruffling the dog's fur.*
Gogo: Huh? I can't see a fing, I got fur in me eyes.

My very first Middie Blythe has arrived! I love her!! Described as: 8" Neo Middie Blythe Factory Doll Joint Body Matte Face.
I chose one with a jointed body for more fun posing opportunities. Even if I have seen plenty of Blythe dolls here on Flickr, I wasn't prepared for the size and heaviness of her head, and this is a Middie and not a full sized one.
I'm in awe of all of you out there who pose them so brilliantly. This "little" nugget can't even sit without tipping over. There will be a lot of trial and error in the near future, haha!
She came in her birthday suit, so I will have to dive into my Skipper and kiddie bin to see if anything fits her petite body and feet.
Her name is June and I'm over the moon!

1982 Dream Date Barbie.
Her story:
I got her, I think in summer 82/83, not sure. She has been thru every move and every moment until I went to college. When I settled in my apartment my Dad brought ALL of my things from home!! She was my only Barbie for some years and she has held up. I will take the credit for cutting her hair! And I’m thinking of removing the remaining hair and flocking her. She has an unfortunate neck split, due to a spawn of Satan my Mother forced us to be too! I was a teenager and wanted to smack to heck of this little girl! >grrr< She’s been held together with crazy glue since 1992 😬

Some of these are replacement dolls for ones that got lost or broken. The only one I'm missing now is Fashion Photo because I picked up Pink n Pretty at a flea market on 11/2.
Just a quick pic I snapped for a Facebook group I'm in. They have themes roughly twice a month and I figured Dream Date PJ was perfect for the current 'vintage' prompt.
This two piece dress is semi ridiculous but I LOVE how evocative it is of its time and miss the era of every barbie outfit having some sort of transforming element. Hopefully we see some fun ideas like that in the future 😉

L’outfit è originale ad eccezione di un orecchino (preso su ebay) e delle scarpe (erano nel lotto MI-gennaio 2020).
