I've been on a few road trips to South Carolina, and always marveled at the Appalachian mountains driving through hoping to one day visit. Although not a lot of time to explore as much as I would have liked, it was a dream come true and even better than I had hoped..... thanks to helpful tips from a dear friend💛.....made a few stops enroute to SC in Virginia, West Virginia, and Western North Carolina....this photo is taken from the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina! Grateful to get the chance to experience these new places. 🙏💙

My excitement was beyond words! I finally caught a series of murmurating shorebirds with a fabulous comp! I was tired after walking 6 miles of trails today lugging my gear, but totally worth it!

 

Now to distinguish between sandpiper, dunlin, and sanderling...anyone know? (Still new to birding, but I'm leaning towards sanderling based on the bill and other photos I took.)

To dream about teeth could mean that you’ve lost self confidence. You are feeling uncertain of your life, your decisions or even your own appearance. How unbearable it is to not have any teeth!
