Although the sunset wasn't spectacular I was delighted to see a sailboat moored in Keem bay. This is a very popular beach on Achill Island. We were camping on the island so I took a spin down one eve after little man fell asleep.
So you might think you need a great camera for a great memory. But this photo was taken with our Underwater Camera. I like the feel of the textures. Works for me :)
FLOATING in the LANDSCAPE
The landscape is bright, floating in my dreams
A small blue dot, found a home upon my face
In nine weeks, it has become a melanoma
Stage three
The landscape is darker, everything more intense
A small blue dot got bigger, happy with its home
In nine weeks, it has released its children
They have spread
I am watching the light, and hoping for time
PS – Excuse the dramatic poem, it is therapeutic for me.
I would like to thank my flickr friends for their support and understanding. I will have less time for flickr for a while, so please excuse me if I don't get back to you staight away. While I do not anticipate the worst, it is a stage 3 melanoma, so that means I will have a few medical issues to deal with before the road is clear once more. Love to you all, Grant.

Ein Lichtspektakel über den Steinwald lässt sich selten genießen. Bei so viel unterschiedliche Farben und Formen der Wolken zeigt er sich selten so schön. Ein absoluter Traum Sonnenuntergang.
A light spectacle over the stone forest can rarely be enjoyed. With so many different colors and shapes of the clouds, it rarely shows itself so beautifully. An absolute dream sunset.

The Zingst pier is a pier in Zingst on the Baltic Sea. A previous building, a footbridge, was ready for demolition in 1947 due to storms and ice drift. The new pier, 270 meters long and 2.50 meters wide, was inaugurated in May 1993.
Die Seebrücke Zingst ist eine Seebrücke in Zingst an der Ostsee. Ein Vorgängerbau, eine Fußgängerbrücke, stand 1947 wegen Sturm und Eisgang zum Abriss bereit. Der neue Pier, 270 Meter lang und 2,50 Meter breit, wurde im Mai 1993 eingeweiht.
I had this one night for a sunset and rising full moon evening at White Sands National Park in New Mexico. This was my sunset that was given to me. It started off normal and then broke into several layers of golden light raining down everywhere. I was lost in a daydream.
Life has ups and downs. Joy and sorrow. The sorrow is the part for the growing inside of us but it sure doesn't feel that way when going through it.
This night was a wonderful night. I have many blessings in my life. I am forever thankful for them. And yet again I am praying for my youngest daughter to come home to me. For those that follow me, you will know she has gone no contact with me and my wife for two years. Our other two kids are getting married and engaged this summer and yet the emptiness of her not here is gut wrenching. She has asked for space. We have given her that but so desperately want to reach out to her.
If so inclined I please ask for a simple 20 second prayer that she finds her way back to us.
