I made this simple drawstring bag right before I left for my trip back East. The pocket with the buttonhole were a last minute addition, but were super useful. There is a problem with the closure. It neither opens nor closes all of the way. I am not sure if this is because of the twill tape and/or the linen or if I did something else wrong.

Based on a Pinterest pin, although that one had individual champagne glasses filled with fruit. I'm not fancy enough to have champagne glasses, so into the trifle dish it went!

These are the fabrics for Eric's ugly shirt bag. Leftover red from the shirt I made him for Christmas, leftover gold from my Anevka coat, and some fish fabric salvaged from an old shirt he wore out.
