I found some time between projects recently to do some drawing. Whilst searching for something completely unrelated I came across a great image of Mika Katsuragi from the 1970s Ultraman TV show and felt compelled to get sketching. I was rusty at first but soon got back into the swing of things.

Got busy drawing cars last night. Really enjoy trying to capture the form, shape and foreshortening that occurs at different angles, especially on the older models.

I don’t always find time to draw when I’m busy making things move. My daily sketch’s are usually of how to build something in 3D or a plan of what the camera needs to do. So it’s nice to just sketch for the love of it.
