Ironically, Turkey Vultures don’t have a syrinx, the avian vocal cord. They are only able to grunt and hiss, so use flight patterns to communicate the location of their next meal. This vulture’s attempt at singing a lively tune has only resulted in a cloud of carrion breath.

This is one of the masks from my mom's Halloween decoration collection. This mask is from one of those hideous vintage costumes - a vacuformed mask and a plastic poncho with a print on it.
But the costume this seems to represent - a princess at a masquerade ball? - is more easily achieved by sticking a dress, crown, and small mask on a kid. Rather than A MASK THAT IS WEARING A MASK. So weird.
