#305/365 A quick Halloween photo. I don't do much photo manipulation and I really should get better at it. I figured I'd have fun with this one since it was cartoon based. Costum made by Sparkle Pipsi.

This was a really easy mod to the clear sphere I made a while ago. The centre has the star and the Belville crown piece attached. You just need to attach the clear orange flat studs carefully at the back to complete the ball.

The two-colored appearance results purely from origami folding techniques that take advantage of a single square of paper (solid orange on one side, solid blue on the other). Absolutely no cutting and pasting of little bits of paper here!
This is my first time preparing and folding with double tissue paper, and I'm quite pleased with the result. Cheap, thin, holds folds well, and comes in a variety of colors, including the right colors for this model.
