The draft for the hockey league I play for was last night. I was hoping I would be a 1st round draft pick, but I was the first pick of the second round.
Draft Card issued after my Navy service, classification went from 1-A to 1-D meaning reserve status. I served 4 years and one month active duty. I was considered reserve for 2 additional years but they didn't bother me after separation.

For the first draft of my 2D project, I decided to the use the abstract art pieces I considered using for my 4D project. The first piece uses straight, geometric shapes while the second uses curves and circular shapes. These shapes are meant to represent different body shapes and facial features. When seeing this piece, I want my audience to question why one image appeals more to them than the other. This is meant to reflect the fact that different people find different physical features attractive. I found that using shapes to replace images of actual bodies allows an audience to better critically analyze the piece.
