This is what most of us (except Josh) looked like the whole draft. Jesse looks very prepared, but he actually came with nothing. We printed that sheet out for him when he arrived. It's going to be great if he wins.
May 15, 2019 - "The complex of buildings at Hillside includes spaces from across Wright’s career as a designer: the “abstract forest” drafting studio (1939), the Hillside Assembly Hall (1903), the Hillside Theater (1955), and the Fellowship dining hall (1955). Hillside is home to the School of Architecture at Taliesin, and students in residence here from mid-May through mid-October may be seen at work in the studio. The Assembly Hall is an example of Wright’s strides to “destroy the box” of traditional architectural design. The Hillside Theater includes a theater curtain, that was adapted from a Wright-designed geometric abstraction of the Taliesin landscape." An example of drafting equipment from the 1920s, other than the rise of computer-aided design not much has changed on the physical side of things.

Draft logo design - 2008

I'm quite fond of this design. I like how punchy it is, but the client and I both agreed that it wasn't the thing we were looking for. Sometimes the best idea isn't the right idea.

Late upload of some photos I had on my camera from Memorial Day Weekend...
Hung out on Memorial Day itself with some awesome friends, who also brought their dolls. Took a few random photos for fun.

I found this drafting table on Craigslist this weekend and bought it for $80 off a really nice couple in Northern Spokane. It's beautiful. The drawing pad sitting on it is oversize -- 18" x 24" sheets to give you an idea of the size of the table. It also has a handy drawer for pens.
An idea: use paint or vinyl decals to put directional information on the walls. This PhotoShopped mock-up is done with red lettering.

This is by no means an approved plan, this is just my wacky idea.
